Background:
Xyven was read adventuring stories as a child by his mom before he went to bed, and enjoyed each one. Xyven's mom was a healer for the church of Brandobaris, while his dad was a stelward adventurer whom fought for many treasures. This lead to Xyven naturally taking up the role as an adventuring sort, in his father's footsteps.

While his dad wielded a rapier and a buckler, Xyven thought what better place to strike than from the shadows. As Xyven fought his way in the shadows, he eventually started having dreams of power that could be attained should he accept them. Now he bares two runes on his palms, symbolizing an eldritch pact with a devil. However, this pact was made long before Xyven's birth, through his great grandfather many many years ago.

Goals:
Mainly to be remembered in a story, hopefully for good. He has taken up the idea of becoming an Angel or some other way to "balance" the evil in the world with the idea that the "inability to die" is the answer. However, he is largely ignorant of the fact he is bound by a devil and attaining his dark powers from fell forces. One way or another, he seeks to be remembered, but will it be for benevolence, wrath, or misguidance?

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas:
- While he seeks to become an angel or some other force of good to balance evil, he is bound by a devil through his great grandfather.
- He is taught new powers of his pact through his dreams, often times the true darkness of these teachings goes unaware to Xyven.
