She's either wearing a green dress with white flower patterns or a heavy breastplate armor. She carries a wooden club and a thick magical wooden shield. Her pig collar and holy symbol of Mielikki are obvious around her neck.

Background:
Calania was never a normal girl. She enjoyed painting landscapes as a child, and worked on her parents farm for most of her early life. One day that changed when she saw a man on the forest edge. She spoke to him. He was Alaric, a ranger, and he was patrolling the forests for dangerous beasts. Immediately entranced by the 'woodsman' life, the teenage girl decided to follow the ranger and eventually try to become one herself.
She didn't do so well at the archery or stealth, but she was a natural (puns haha) at dealing with animals, talking down angry boars and taming feral cats. Soon Alaric took her into the local Druidic circle for training. She, already devout to Mielikki, mastered Wildshape quickly, and became a full member of the Circle.

Disaster struck when a wizard in the area built a tower, and farmers began disappearing. Alaric and another ranger went to investigate, but never came back. Next, an elder Druid went, and similarly disappeared. This happened several times before Calania herself went.

She found only corpses and undead at first as she broke down the door, warded and ready for a fight. She fought her way up the tower, to the laboratory of the necromancer. Alaric stood, zombified, with the other ranger. She tearfully yelled a prayer as she smashed their skulls in.

The wizard did not appreciate this, but found himself unable to kill the constantly shifting avatar of nature before him. Just before she killed him, he managed to get several mind spells off against her- curses and insanity, shattering her mind. While later several clerics repaired much of the damage, she is rarely lucid and represses her memories to keep herself going. In her quest to finally get herself healed, she wandered to Baldurs Gate and immediately fell in love with a winter wolf and a farm pig....
Goals: Restoring her mind. Finally moving on after Alaric died. Finding her parents and their farm near Luskan. Rebuilding her druidic circle.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
"The arcanist was not hopeful as he looked through his colleagues devastated tower. He saw several scattered leaves and abandoned holy symbols as he searched. The fool necromancer had been experimenting on Druids. He finally reached the top, unsurprised to see his friend dead, and muttered the words off a resurrection scroll.
The wizard Kellein Ethok awoke. He swore, and said "Where'd that infernal druidess go?!" They found a trail of blood, following it towards Baldurs Gate and the one they would kill for revenge..."
Calania also has an older brother who went to the city Neverwinter itself to study magic with a wizard. She ALSO has a younger brother who wasn't old enough to leave the farm when Calania did, so she doesn't know his location or line of work.
