as for new races, i'm always open to more options, as long as they fit lore. but do be careful about adding more versions of a race that already has a heavy following. we want a broad spectrum of played races

Agreed. I don't have a strong opinion on this, but I voted "yes" simply because likewise I don't see any real imbalance in the addition (other than what Karond pointed out about most ECL 0 races ending up with a +0 instead of a +2--maybe it could be tweaked or nerfed somehow to fall in line with the rest?)

Feytouched should be ECL+1, (as should be wood elves).

Personally, I absolutely adore fey, fey oriented stuff, and especially a fey sort of playable race. Love em!

You can basically already play fey-touched creatures by taking the fey heritage feats, or playing a spirit shaman (the level 20 ability technically makes you part fey). You don't need a new race for it.

If we incorporate any of Kaedrin's content, we will want to double-check with him to make sure it's A) fine for us to do so, and B) OK for us to make alterations to it in order to balance it for our server.

I'm not saying no to any of Kaedrin's content, just "we'll want to talk to him about it first." Ours is a small community and I want to make sure that all of the community's content creators are comfortable with our use of their content.

Kaedrin's a titan of the NWN2 community, and he did amazing work when he was on staff here. I consider him a friend. We even seriously thought about converting NWN2's 3.5 ruleset into a Pathfinder RPG ruleset once upon a time (and he even started work on it). If he'd rather we not use his work anymore than we are already, then I will respect his wishes.

Either way, an "I don't care" isn't quite the same thing as a "go ahead." And I'd just be a lot more comfortable talking to him directly before giving my own go-ahead on the inclusion of new Kaedrin stuff on BG.

I doubt he will answer that. Kaedrin is out of the nwn2 game, last I checked. He mentioned that when he was pulling out of Dalelands Beyond. But, you could ask anyway. It wouldn't matter either way. Or maybe he just quit DB! Seems he staffing on RoT.

I voted no because these would need to be balanced first and from the sounds of it all that might get changed is ECL which is French for "levels slower".
