Old appearance changer makes Golden Sink robes disappear

Hi, giving people a heads up on a bug, and a warning to be careful!

I used the new appearance changer to change the Robe of the Eyes (I think that is their name; they're one of the new robes with +4 AC, +4 Spot, Uncanny Dodge, and some other bonuses).

However, there was still a weird chest medallion thing left over, that I couldn't get rid of.

So I thought I would try to use the old appearance changer to try to get rid of the chest medallion thing.

The old appearance changer said "Base armor value not found." And it wouldn't let me click left or right to cycle through the robe appearances.

So I tried directly entering a number to change the robe's appearance, and the robe completely disappeared.

I did send a screenshot to the DMs, but I thought I would detail the bug here, so other people can avoid it.

I suspect a lot of the new items from the epic Avernus store are having a similar issue. I'm also getting the "Base armor value not found" for my armor when bringing up the old appearance changer(which I use quite a bit to change the color of my hood to match the two cloaks I own).

I'm about to use the new appearance changer on the armor, although I have a feeling it's going to leave traces of the original item appearance(much like the medallion the OP describes), as another player I've spoken to has also run into this glitch.

I'm noticing a lot of people losing their items because of this.

Several of the new armors sold at the "epic shop" have various accessories attached to them which reside on the "Belt" appearance slot of the item. People trying to appearance-change these items with the NEW appearance changer will notice that the belt stays after they pick a new appearance for it. As a result, they try to change it with the old appearance changer, and it eats their item.

*** PLEASE DO NOT USE Charlie's Appearance Changer (the old system) on these epic shop items. It will cause them to vanish from your inventory 100% of the time. ***

These belt items CANNOT be removed from the item through any in-game method, currently, so don't bang your head against the wall trying for some solution, or you will end up frustrated and sans your epic item. The "belts" can only be removed in the toolset or through .bic file modification.
