Religious service/sacrifice rp

How do I go about setting up, even a small single thing for a character to engage in a religious service to his god to have a valid rp reason to post something in the 1352 forum in the religious part? Something that might also be given substance by the dms even minorly?
Will I find the light. Or be swallowed by Darkness. I sense hope. But foresee harm. Will I know the blade. Taste the blood. I see a figure. I see a shadow...I see myself
