As she hurriedly make her way to the crossroads she rejoices to meet her friend Teddy. Hurriedly explaining her anxiousness to act and treat Aeili. They exchange ideas with little satisfaction. They talk of old tales and myths, down to fairytales Hoppy's grandmother told her as a child. Stories of benevolent fey creatures living in the forests some with magics and secret knowledge of healing and medicines. They both beam at the idea of meeting a unicorn. Hoppy suggests going to the Reaching Woods, where she often stays. Teleporting them hastily to her favourite spot. An old tree stump that stands lone in a clear part of the forests edge, some of her own planted flowers growing nearby. She tells Teddy of her dream to one day transform into a tree home, inspired by an old friend named Deacon.

They search through the forest for a while and decide to leave an offering in the peaceful glade, hoping to attract benevolent forest dwellers. Hoppy suggests offering a magical animal from another plane to come forth and be seen with them in the forest, so the creatures they seek know them to be friends of similar beings. Hoppy lights a candle and leaves a seperate offering of maple covered carrots to summon a Celestial Stag, watching a it serenely to drinks from the spring in the material plane, hoping it bares them good omen in the woods.

To attract this mystical or benevolent or forest dweller or fey creature they decide to cover all their bases.
They decide to leave:
A slice of apple pie, leftover from her gift to Aeili.
A single pearl due to it's ties to nature and possesses beautiful and magical qualities.
A handful of maple sap carrot chunks, usually reserved for her friend Wuffsy.
Some "Silver Birch Wine" that Teddy has saved for a long time.
A medicinal tonic made of the herbs they could muster. Aiming to find Calimint for her chest problems Gingseng for her strength, Poppy for her pain and Mistletoe to help her circulation after bedrest. They then cover the medicinal tea with a large leaf to keep it fresh. They hoped that any empathetic creatures to their cause might impart some of their own medicines or magics.
Reluctantly, Hoppy leaves her most loved possession, a rainbow acorn. "For Aeili" she says under her breath, stroking it delicately with the tips of her knuckles one last time leaving it nestled in the earth but clearly visible.
Together they write upon a piece of parchment containing the sigil of Mystra in a secret language, helping each other with the difficult and eccentric script.
