One more factor I need to consider is that I'm, let be sincere, completely unfamiliar with modern BGTSCC spells mechanic. Not better then average at very least. So its impossible to choose a school adequately. That's why I'm going to have him generalist also, and it makes the DC38 task more challenging. My draft Rog3/Wiz21/BM6 has Int30/32+Spellcasting Prodigy(34), CL31(33 with BM6), and makes use of spell focus items that are nor that rare (some even sold in Avernus). It allows him to reach only DC37 but in a several schools, not only one.

What would you think?

A dc of 37 is good enough. A DC of 32 ( wrack, level4 spell ) isnt though. That is why I believe Aelcar mentions a DC of 38. Not only because ofthe high level spell DCs nut those at lower levels which you will use the most.

I see it was at least 38, mean it better be even higher, but, given its hard to choose school right, would
36-37 in several schools +3 freed feats be better then
38-39 in one chosen.

Btw, we don't have epic skill focus (concentration) here, or we have?

Bingo. Exactly right. The "DC 38" is a marker, a reference for you: for instance, you could be a Transmuter with that DC potential, and have no 9th Circle spells with which to use your ESF Transmutation. No problem, it's just a compass, a reference.

I considered SD and understood that its not the type I want him to be. But from before a time when HIPS was introduced, there was rogues who hid behind corners, behind obstacles.. not in a plain sight as it is. This is a skill now forgotten, but I want to try. And it would not be main skill for sure. It fits the story also.

I did the same with one of my mages (Wizard10/Pale Master10/Archmage10 with full hide/ms): you make absolutely no concession for it, so why not ? Dipping Rogue brings skill points, Tumble and Evasion, as well as a few more HP...not a bad trade, for PS. Wiz 26/Ro4 is pretty good, as example.

It does not. Contrarily to common belief, a school of specialization grants no bonus to DC whatsoever (unless this recently changed with the new system to choose your school of opposition). Even if it changed with some update somewhere, the numbers I gave you before were given without this in mind, so you tread safely.

That it's a very good build. You can definitely have fun with this. Just remember to keep Fox's Cunning up at all times if you don't have a +4 INT item, and you're golden. Keep a Scar of Ethereal Jaunt ready, just in case...

This deserves its own reply: DCs below 38 aren't "bad" per se. If you read my post, I refer to "9th Circle DC in your school of choice" (meaning: where your Spell Focus Feats lie). That means your 4th Circle spells will indeed have DC 33.

When you have such a spell, you need to know when to use it, and on whom. Some spells (like Phantasmal Killer, for instance) also need some setup. That's what I meant with check how spells work, on whom they work, and how they interact with each other for far more powerful results.

Instance: Grease + Web + Cloudkill means enemies will need at least 3 rounds to get through if you place them correctly. That means your next Wall of Fire (for example) will instakill them all, because of the unavoidable (triple) CON loss. Result: you used a 1st Circle spell, a 2nd Circle one, a 4th Circle one and a 5th Circle one, and you killed multiple targets your CR or above. That's the kind of tradeoff you want.

*casts Magic Missile and then Melf's Acid Arrow and then double Greater Fireburst* -> chances are, you killed one enemy or two, but most likely none, and you need to cast on top of that because they are now on you. With my example above, you'll kill not only those you initially want dead, but also their friends if they join the party. No additional spell needed.

There are endless instances like these.
