Founded by Ashan Wayne, the foundation is a school for warriors of all walks and skill sets. The end goal of the school is to provide the fighters, scouts, knights, and other defenders of the coast the best possible training and battle readiness available at minimum cost. As well to provide training for the defenseless, in order that they become capable in self defense. The school has no affiliations politically, and makes no judgements about its students. However, with the goal of the school in mind, students will be interviewed and questioned about their past experiences and goals. Since it's founding, the Bladestone has evolved from purely a school to a more local-community oriented organization. Based at the inn of Warrior's Rest, it offers training and betterment for both travelers and locals as well as a safe place to conduct business while still offering up occasional tournaments and the training to adventurers and organizations as it did upon its original founding.

As the school's leadership Derik Ranloss, Niyressa Dawncrow (DiceyCZ), Lylan'Synor (InsomnesCanis), and Adrian Baker (zhazz) can be contacted by letters left with the innkeeper Reinhard at Warriors Rest.

1) The Bladestone Foundation itself does not adhere to any specific political allegiance or set of laws, but for the sake of maintaining peace and order it has decided to ban the usage of magic targeting or affecting anyone but the user himself. Tutors and other staff may permit the usage of magic at their discretion.
2) The Foundation and it's buildings are not a haven for criminals and the like to hide in. To that end, if someone within the Foundation's walls is legitimately wanted and an authorized individual provides proof of criminal activities or a legal warrant of arrest, the Foundation will not stand in it's way. If at any point it is found that an individual or individuals are using the Bladestone and its staff as sanctuary for hiding due to breaking the law, the Council may decide to temporarily or permanently remove their access to the Foundation.
3) The Foundation is neutral ground. We ask everyone to leave their politics at the door. Harassment or other actions due to political differences will not be tolerated and will lead to punishments or banning.
4) Personal disagreements are allowed to be resolved in-facility if both parties agree to it.. There are only a few guidelines to adhere to.
- No fights to the death.
- Anything with weapons must take place in the arena or outside.
- The involved parties may request a staff member as witness and/or judge for their duel.
5) All people who enter the grounds are welcome to trade at the cart stop or partake of the Inn's services as desired.
6) Those seeking training must sign and agree to the following points:
- Training and membership is on a person by person basis starting from the moment these bylaws are signed. No further contracts at organizational levels will be entertained.
- If you are in a class being taught by or attended by those of other factions that you are uncomfortable or unwilling to train with, you may request a new instructor or class time. However, this will incur extra cost as our staff is limited.
- The area of the Inn and Tavern of Warrior's Rest is not covered by the above clause. If you don't want to associate with people from other factions while drinking, then simply don't.
- An organization may request an instructor travel to their own facility for training, but this is not a guaranteed service and is up to the instructor on a case-by-case basis, and will incur additional fees for the extraneous effort and travel expenses.
- It is requested, though not required, that more advanced students as they come and go assist and escort the newer students and civilians coming and going. Regular doing so may result in benefits.
- Respect the guards and the staff, or get tossed out.
7) Drow and grey orcs are not permitted on the premises.
8) Any questions or uncertainties about treatment or behaviour of trainees and tutors may be taken up with members of staff. Unjustified fuss-raising will not be accomodated.
