Re: Placeable corpses
Well if your friend dies you can. Currently no placeable props for it but there are vials of blood.

A bit hide to carry around without being seen in town. Maybe get the guards a script that arrests people with corpses.
Could have a guy selling cadavers in roaringshore.

Would be awesome for us not so orthodox healers who wish to train our apprentices how to dissect a actual body

Re: Placeable corpses
I don't know why OP desires this, but I can definitely understand the merits of Kiran's example here - even if it is a bit grotesque! (Is it appropriate for Teen rating? I suppose you could fade to black, but then, what's the point of the corpse in the first place...)
Unfortunately, though, I can see the huge potential for metagaming as well, with corpses. There are already occasional cases of people leaving renamed arrows, bullets and bolts in front of NPCs as "anonymous" notes and posters. One time I stumbled upon a symbol of myrkul right in front of the Lathanderite templars. Also in the middle of the East Gate District. I've also come across "severed arms" in front of the Order of the Silver Rose building, within sight of the guards and even supposedly full corpses at the same place.
Giving people the ability to drop actual corpses is concerning. If they work as other placeable stuff, though, where you can OOCly see the name, then it's better. But it doesn't stop those people from metagaming NPCs to begin with.
TL;DR - I kind of get why you'd want it, but I'm wary of the potential metagaming. If steps are made to prevent that, though, all good.

Re: Placeable corpses
I'm skeptical that a visual placable corpse would ramp up that kind of metagaming (metagame will henceforth in this post be used as a word to describe this specific kind of metagaming).
A) People can already do this in RP, via any item which is renamed at the very least. Same as with anything else that can be placed down that requires representation in the game world.
B) People can do this with other player's corpses, if one cares to examine this angle on the issue.
C) This suggestion won't have an impact on the amount of this kind of metagaming at all. The people who want to do it will already look to option A (or B, for a more dedicated metagamer) and will do it with this too (which, in practical terms, is no different at all).
The people (who are the majority) who don't want to use it to metagame will instead use it to enhance RP with a visual representation. Which is good.
It won't help or hinder the metagamers (who are the minority). It will help the none metagamers (who are the majority).
This is a net benefit, which bends directly towards the none metagamers, who also represent the majority of the playerbase.
(((+1 to the idea of placable corpses)))

Re: Placeable corpses
I once RPed with a body and someone got upset and took it from me to be raised.
Necro types aught to have bodies around when they need them for special purposes.

Re: Placeable corpses
I want to be the guy who carries some few 20 corpses around. .. and if stopped.. I'll just say that "I'm holding on to them for special occasions"
It's a prop. Unless people want to start Erping with it I don't see the danger... we already got spells and magic that turns the target inside out. We just don't visually see it. It's all in the description of people that decides if it's pg or not.
If people want corpses for rituals or setting up a scene. Let them I say. Like with anything else in our rp you have to not go into too much cadaver details.
