Change: Great Drow Gish Builds

Agreed to pretty much all you write, chad. I meant this particular gish has a lowish AC, certainly compared to the 50+ minimum I usually try to get on my non-Arcane builds - which is however compensated for by the Arcane defense spells you mention.

And yes, it has the EDM downside of limited uses, though they should still be sufficient to last until most short term buffs have run out too (Haste, etc.). And then those +10 dmg points... But it is a hard call and I haven't played this yet.

The question really is what concept are wanted.

Never play a toon with mechanics that does not fit your toon concept.

She's leaning more towards drow arcane gish now because of the way sshamath is set up. So archmage can now cross class with other classes? Last I heard it wasn't done mechanically IG yet.

Edit: "Still spell full plate armor rockin drow chick with long hair" was her exact term

AFAIK you are correct, will take a while to reach archmage levels though.

Hopefully it is in by then, could take days or years since it is really up to the devs to deliver the change in synergies for archmage.


Beyond rusty underwear, what else are wished for?
The above stated state of rocking is accomplished by plentyful ways of dipping (fighter/cleric/anointed knight/dragonslayer/guild thief etc).
Is it a naughty person?
Does it desire to lug around a doorsized shield?
Divinations and less stable acts dealing with blood?
Skip and dance among lightning?
A frozen appearance?
Association with the art of aquiring and retail?

The beauty of our classes are the diversity offered to make a build according to character concept.
