Game Style

In order to vary DM styles and provide wider options I am trying to work the following.
I will respond to player requests sent to DM
i will place rumours and hooks IG that may encourage players to find those hooks that lead to games. (please note Orc example 12.09)
I will run smaller scenarios to support ongoing IG RP
I will respond to IG player requests for rp support
Anything else anyone thinks of
(likely in this order)

PS this is not just about established L 30 play. It is for all players and all levels. Many games will be aimed at lower level skill wise etc.

I am trying to link events and support other plots. So things you hear, see and touch in my games may be of value beyond that specific event.

INFORMATION.

Information for one quest may spill out in another and be of value to someone else.

I try to use bards. NPC bards may reveal information of general use or for some group or individual specifically. PC Bards may be dropped information. This may not be specifically for the recipient but provide RP opportunities.

I put information into the game in the form of objects or creatures that may provide a plot hook or a specific item that another player is looking for. RP opportunities are created and financial opportunities too perhaps. These items may be found anywhere with a view to encouraging proper searches and enhance what otherwise might be viewed as grinding trips.

I may not always be present or available when things of interest are found, but they still have a value and what the PC does is entirely your domain. Where possible try to keep RP stuff IG. If you have the clout to broadcast something along the entire Sword Coast then the forum is there. If you need anything specific in that regard PM me please.

EVENTS.

Events are often preceded by rumours, static finds and encounters, and small DM encounters. Ongoing events are supported by Information (as described above.) So getting out and about IG may help progress an ongoing event.

It usually follows :

Items with clues placed In Game to be found.
rumours circulated via bards and other players.
small events IG to drop clues.
running any specific player enquiries.
leads to more conventional game/s when clues put together - usually driven by player initiative and request..

The Wanted

From time to time there will be NPC IG indicating that someone is wanted locally. This is a dynamic quest which will remain while server is UP. There will be signs and clues that might help find the person. If you have been beaten to the villain. A corpse and chest will likely mark the spot of the villain's last stand. This quest works without a DM except for the reward. Please contact me IG or by PM. This is about adding RP but there will be a find nearby to support proof. If in doubt screenshot. Those that escape justice may grow their legend.
