Cleric / Rogue / Assassin

Hello!

Ive recently started a tiefling who will end up as a Cleric 19 / Rogue 3 / Assassin 8 split.

He is currently lvl 4 with Cleric 3 / Rogue 1. On lvl 6 i will take the first Assassin level but i am unsure where to continue from there?

I am unsure whether i should raise cleric for the spells and extended divine might first or go for Assassin to get HIPS asap and the sneak dice.

She gets feint from the trickery domain and i will max bluff so i can make use of the sneak dice even before i hit assa 8

I am really leaning towards maxing assassin first but then it will be until epics when i get a decent CL / spellbook.

Any thoughts?

I guess it really depends on if you need HIPS early rather than late. I would assume early since you will not hit a high enough CL to avoid dispells anyway.

There is not a simple viable way to play a divine sneak at the moment. The best options you have are to go cleric SD. You will want to keep your cleric caster level as close to 30 as possible. We made changes to the way dispel works and you will be dispelled all the time with your current build plan.

You could pull off a cleric assassin heirophant with a 29 CL, but you will not get HiPS until epics that way.

There is cleric rogue black flamed zealot, but that is not very viable in its current form and you cannot fit in SD without being easily dispelled.

Ultimately, do what ever you enjoy the most and try to enjoy your RP experience. Feel free to ask questions and we will try to answer them as best as possible.
