More appearence options for Padded armor

Unread post by AlwaysSummer Day »

There are only like 50 choices. Probably less than 10 actual choices split up between different colors. Let us choose a bunch of the wizard robes and rogue leathers and such.

Um, you know you can use the new appearance changer to make your padded armour look like cloth or leather now if you want that, right?

I cant even find that thing to be honest. It wasn't in the clothing shops or the basic merchants.

I have not seen it in game. It should be real simple to put it back in on a merchant without having to do in major updating. I'd like some padded armor that made my toon look like a rag doll clown hybrid.

It is not possible to use new appearance changer, because appchanger items are no longer being sold anywhere.

It is a bug, it was reported almost two weeks ago, and it hasn't been fixed yet.

Someone passed me the kit the other day and I tried to use it. I was unable to change the appearance of my armor (mithral) or bracers (blinding strike). My weapon had less options (dwarven waraxe) than the regular appearance changer.

Mithral armour can be changed by going to the Mithral appearance changer in Maltz/Soubar/Sshamath and selecting the first appearance option (ie do not change from the first available appearance). Then exit that dialogue/area and use the app changer item and I think it will work.

Bracers have no appearance options. They cannot be changed to anything. Never have been. You can spot folks with Bracers of the Blinding Strike because they always have those ugly green hands.

Apparently you just have to ask a DM. It cost 200 gold.

Mithral armor works with the new app.kit. But it can be a bit tricky.

I had a m-fullplate on which i couldn't change any style with all the basic look option .
I played a bit with the kit-options and changed a shoulder part to something common, after that i could alter its basic look and then circle thru all styles. :o

This also works on most of the armor/robes from the new shop !
