Stormlord In Search Of The Midnight Sun

The Stormlord Mary Myers overhears about a stolen diamond the size of a Earth Genasi's fist. She becomes enamored with the idea of finding this Midnight Sun Diamond. Her first lead is hearing the thief headed south towards Beregost. She spends many hours inside the Risen Phoenix Inn buying drinks and offering charming smiles to those who she think may have information.

Taking a break from drinking in the inn, and to sober up, Mary heads next door to the Beregost Town Hall. She spends her time on Quartermaster Montes asking if he knows about the Midnight Sun Diamond. Additionally, she tries to question him to see if he has knowledge on less then reputable trading and dealings within the city.

Heyyy now.. Surely a sharp Quartermaster such as yourself must know something?

After spending three days within the town of Beregost looking for information or a new lead, Mary leans against the town hall annoyed at her failure. The roof the Town Hall protects her from the downpour of rain. The lead proves to be nothing other than a giant waste of time. Sulking and brooding the Stormlord braves the rain and heads towards Candlekeep. Perhaps she will find more information there.
