Hello,
I am currently building a wisdom monk and wondering if any of the custom feats this server created are "must haves"? Specifically I am thinking about the combat line feats. Just how effective are those? Seems like alot to lose 4 feats for some...compensatable....benefits. Has anyone played those? Also, noticed on the wiki the server had Ki Blast and Barrage...as well as ki step. Sounds interesting.
Any feedback?

Combat focus if that's what you're referring is decent for wisdom monk and good if you have that epic monk belt with saving feats. If you look just the numbers for single fight then it doesn't shine up since you could with that wisdom score just use a healing kit or two and be better off. But since we're playing in persistant world there are practical issues also. 10str monk can't really carry endless amounts of healing kits so that regen saves you up much of annoyance getting encumbered. And in the epics where monk can really use some ab bonus changing that to 3-4 ab is good for bosses too.

You shouldn't ever have 10 Str. You want to aim for a minimum 16 with items (unless a small Race). Apart from carrying, it adds to damage, which you definitely need on a Wisdom Monk.
Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about it

Intuitive Attack, fiery fist and blazing aura (wis23) is what you need as a wis monk.
And dont forget to get expose weakness.
(Ki Blast and Barrage is not available, not sure if it ever will be)
Ki step ist nice to have, if you have a feat to spare take it, but not really needed on the other hand.
Ki dodge & epic ki dodge is useful too, but the duration of one round is to short for me to like it.
The combat focus line, hmm not sure what to make of it yet.
At the moment i play a monkish build (is lv12) who took combat focus & combat vigor, have to see how useful they will turn out overall. It was changed recently so that it now activates itself an the beginning of a combat, but the cooldown is still a long one.

Re: New Monk Feats
Thank you for the responses everyone.
I do have the basics covered, so I appreciate the confirmation. I am hesitant on ki step. The description says its instantaneous but forum research says it's interruptable? Can anyone confirm which is which? A little less than appealing if it can be interrupted.
Ill avoid the combat line feats for now as I don't think it will work with my monk.
Unfortunate on Ki Blast, Barrage, Dodge and it's greater version though. Such variety, it could certainly spice things up.
