Hello everyone,
in my opinion the Efreets in the area between Beregost-Nashkel (where are also the Wyverns) are very weak. They usually keep trying to cast Wall of Fire, which is totally useless because you can dodge it even before it will be casted... meanwhile they are butchered.
I think would be nice to make them a bit stronger, replacing Wall of Fire with some more useful spells like Fire Shield, Fireball, etc.
In my imaginary an Efreet should be pretty powerful.

Try a char. without evasion and you'll see that it can hurtApple wrote:They usually keep trying to cast Wall of Fire, which is totally useless because you can dodge it even before it will be casted...
Fireshield and alike damageshield-spells hurt melee toons most, while casters usually laugh at them. So not sure that would be the best choice. What about an orb, combust or scorching ray. ?

Re: Efreet
I think they can see invisible creatures also. I remember trying to run past the wyverns invisibly to steal an egg and getting a rude surprise from an effreet. Lessons learned the hard way. They can also do quite a bit of damage with their dual wielding and the biased dice in our game mode.

Yep! I think whatever build the OP has is one of those that does well against monsters like the Efreeti because I can say they are pain in the arse if you get one of them with a couple of wyverns hounding you........think they can see invisible creatures also. Re: Efreet
One day I ran through the area and was attacked by three of them all at once. I'm not sure if this is even intentional or not, but I had to run as three is two more than I could have handled alone. Without HiPS and evasion, these guys can be pretty challenging.

Yes, they can. If your character is weak but can turn invisible, efreets will send him running away or kill outright.... and I think their detection skills is higher than wyvern's.Wyatt wrote:I think they can see invisible creatures also. They're something you don't want to meet in the area.
