Connection's still intermittent or laggy at times as in response to our latest changes the attacker upped the ante (and the strength of his attack to 500+ mbps) but the server managed to stay up through the onslaught at least. It's progress, and we're still tweaking things to improve them, so it should get better over the coming days.

This claim has been made in some form for the last 3 years.

Standard ddos protection requires tens of thousands in investment or a powerful friend to host. I applaud all of your dedication/stubbornness but unless the ddos'er stops and another decides not to take his/her place this is what you're stuck with for years to come. I have to applaud all involved server-side. Last night I was part of the big event in the UD and although the server did blip twice, it came straight back up and we carried on (MAJOR kudos to DM Lobo for his persistence in seeing the event through, and all the players too).

Sunday night, peak time, 75/75, under attack, and we completed a 4-hour dm event in the UD with around 15 players attending said event. That is without doubt a massive improvement, well done.
