Re: The Ghost Song RP Thread
Election, abdictation, succession. A few words that went through her mind after coming to see the greater picture of the story. Subterfuge, lawbreaking, madness and loves lost. It swirled around her like a storm, Charisa felt compelled to act but needed to come to terms with her teachings, and the decisions to follow. On the returning trip she was silent most of the time, fraught with thoughts in conflict. There was no clear answer. She departed with a few words.
"She has become an evil, the ground is drenched with it." She looked towards the pair. "If further headway is made, pray inform me, I must tend to the books and research for another matter." She politely bow dipped her head and went off. Her destination, the Palace district and the search for the lawbooks of Baldurs Gate.

Lady R's crimes are piling up, if it was indeed her responsible for what happened to Annabee. Pinched between Charisa's fingers sat a stack of documents, read and reread as she reviewed the current laws. Beside her a book with ancestries of noble lines found within the Gate. There is an inevitability for a confrontation she felt with crimes committed by the lady, the abdication of duties and the saving of a soul destined for the wall.
While the others had affirmed themselves to Brilla's plight directly, and the threat that follows for the mother, Charisa found the periphery and the aftermath inevitably in need to be tended to and in need to be prepared. A few welcome options may present themselves for her associates in these investigations, if she was expedient and ready. What time was left available to them, she was hesitant to estimate.
She sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of her nose. The eyes strained in the candlelight, tired as they were from being used to the late hour in dimmer light. "A Tyrran would be welcome assisting," she mumbled softly to herself. Collecting the documents, to be stored away, the scion stood from her chair. What she needed was more proof collected. And one was back found at the investigator, she believed. Her gaze fell to the humongous sword found, impractical in many ways. The lips pursed in thought what to do with it.
Finding herself back at that musty hallway at he investigators office, past the guard, she stood back where cases came to die. "Recall the note I asked of you? You would not happen to still possess the original forged letter found upon Brilla, for examination? I must compare it with another," she commented, waving a document. The Pink scarves villainry may yet prove useful in the interest of just law.
Later in the day, she would visit Captain Beluarion in at the headquarters. "Hail, Captain Beluarion. Might I suggest an additional mission?" She proceeds to talk with him.

Some where deep in the shadows of a finely crafted room.
"Madam." A gruff voice spoke out. He was cautious in his words to address the woman.
A young woman sat at a table, a single candle lit and a wooden bowl below her wrist. A foul dagger in hand she draws a bit of her own blood, dripping into the aged wood bowl. "The Pink Scarf Gang failed me"
"It was some adventures sent by the Fist, they..." He spoke, becoming chilled by the blood magic he was witnessing.
"I think the good captain has interfered long enough". She said with a cruel smile dimly lit by the candle light.
"Madam?!" The man choked up in objection. "He's a captain, we can't"
"There is no turning back now" the blood boiled in the wooden bowl as her cruel smile remaind.

Julia would dive into any public celebration of the rescue and safe return of Captain Beluarion with relish, singing, dancing, hopping from lap to lap, and downing ale in mass quantities. When asked she would recount the adventure with flamboyant zeal, and the more she drinks, the more outlandish her tale becomes.

A small glass of top shelf whiskey dangles lazily in Pashuz Ankhet's propped hand as he watches the stewards scrubs the blood off the tiled floor in the Helm & Cloak's lounge. The filthy vagrants paid a hefty price for their prize, and lost many of their large sortie. Their client must be getting desperate, he thought.
And why would that be? The captain's efforts have not yielded much. The young miss Annabee is all but worthless, a simple bystander. We did contribute to ridding the city of the spirit nuisance, but surely this conspirator has no intention of seeing the city plagued by the demented dead. What is the lady trying to prevent the captain from accomplishing?
He unfolds his list from his pocket, as he is wont to do when he finds himself idle, and looks over his self-fabricated tasks, a crossed out entry catching his eye.Consult the Duke regarding Brilla. "Hrm, no response yet. It's possible the letter was intercepted, but I suppose I have no other recourse." He muses to himself, taking another sip.
He eyes the latest entry. Find the body. Perhaps that could be what lady could be trying to prevent. But why would the body be there? Why would the captain think it is there? Why would the lady conclude the captain's theory? There's a missing piece in all this, and itches the back of his mind much the same as the suicide story.
He looks up one line. Review the maps with Flomeigne. One quick once over: clean, calm, professional. He finishes his drink and departs to meet with her. No doubt they'll only confirm his suspicions that the maps were officially charted by the city, but they may have a dual purpose for navigating to the ruins below.

Charisa made a lodging today in one of the rooms in the Helm and Cloak, despite the incident that had occured that day. She sat upon her bed in reviewal of the documents and maps that were recovered from the vagrants lair where the Captain was found. A quality far too expensive for the crooks encountered. The plans written down in the documents were intricate, fool proof for even those staunchest believers in idiocy. Someone went to great lengths to have it all run perfectly. Was it not for an intervention by the band of adventurers. A pity all that could speak of their mysterious employer had been killed, and that would leave but hearsay.
Though she could not detect any signature to the maps, it was easy for Charisa to conclude that a specialist would have drawn this. Astounding detailing map of the palace district, and the entire sewer complex. A great deal of quality went into its creation. She intended to find its maker.
Charisa sighed. Her pleasant and quite illuminating conversation she shared with Adelaide showed just how deep the tendrils of corruption had spread. It was of the utmost importance for what she was to unleash upon the two nobles, the two suspected to work together intimately in their intrigue of the court with a possible accomplice, that the evidence gained would surmount any doubt. Criminal charges are one thing, but in forgetting what it is to be noble, the message that would surely ripple through the noble class in their transgressions and allowances in corruption, was the revocation of nobility.

"Who claims to be noble must conduct themselves nobly, acting in fashion that confirms to ones position with the reputation earned."
"I am not trying to be dishonest, Adelaide. I am merely tired of being around others."
"You are just an actor and these games are far above your station in life."The note slipped under the White Mask Theater's door and the attempted kidnapping of Annabee suggested that it was becoming more dire. Herran knew another Seer, someone who might be willing to become a vessel to give Brilla a voice. It was important that she was given the chance to speak, before other decisions were made. Adelaide felt strongly about it.

A fine glass of wine flung across the room and broke on the wall Louis stood near. He coward slightly shifting towards a door as a Ralia barked at him. "They freed him! Those low life adventurers! Add this Julia to my list!"
Ralia turned to face Louis with a scowl but he had fled. This only enraged her more. "Coward" she yelled "I will stop them on my own then!"
Ralia stormed across the room grabbing an aged wooden bowl from a table near the door. With a twisted dagger in hand she returned to a large arcane circle and symbol drawn on the stone floor. She spoke curses, oaths and spell as she rose her dagger spilling blood to power her arcane wickedness. "I won't lose".
The circles and symbols explode with life, energy cracklings as her blood powers the foul magic.

In the aftermath of the raid beneath the City to recover Brilla's body, and following a vigorous scrubbing to get Gelatinous Cube out of her hair (and other places), Julia resumes her rounds of the inns, taverns, and alehouses of the City, telling stories (often greatly embellished for the entertainment of her audience) of the adventure in exchange for drinks.
She has added ribald and mocking songs about the mysterious "Lady R" connected to many of the occurrences to her repertoire, particularly those suggesting a scandalous affair between her and the now-deceased Ogre commander of the Pink Scarf bandits.

Re: The Ghost Song RP Thread
[Collaborative writing! Sunniva (twigs), Talas (Pommel), Herran (paw) and Adelaide (Glowfire). We were a wee bit short on time but Herran was definitely present and as patient as only a bard can be. Set before the ghost song ends, of course!]
Although she had moved to Candlekeep, Brilla’s visions continued to find Sunniva in her sleep. Could it be that the singer was desperately seeking to be heard?
Herran’s suggestion to invite the spirit in had perhaps been made without much consideration of the possible dangers, but in the end Sunniva had decided to cast her concerns aside and act on his proposal.
She had then sought out Adelaide to ask that she spoke to Brilla, should they succeed to invite her. She possessed the ability to envelop others in a great sense of security and warmth, a safe space to share even those words that would otherwise remain forever locked away.
Sunniva requested that Herran came too, as well as Talas. The presence of her closest friends would offer her comfort and safety during the ritual. Nevertheless she reminded both with her habitual honesty that one was too rough and the other too scattered to lead the conversation effectively in what little time they might have, and asked that they allowed Adelaide to speak, so that the spirit would not be overwhelmed.
Eventually the four gathered atop the east tower in Baldur's Gate, where Sunniva arranged pebble-sized rune stones in a half circle in front of her.
It would have been relayed to Herran and Talas that they should remain alert for any outside interferences. Adelaide quietly watched Sunniva prepare. She wore a white dress with a pretty pattern of small flowers, having figured that armor is not much aid against spirits and magic. The perceptive might have been able to tell that she looked at Sunniva with some concern but Adelaide tried hard to push that back.
Talas for his part was in full armour, stood off to one side. As he watched the preparations a gloved hand rested lazily on the pommel of his blade. He was seemingly at ease, or at least, accepting of what was going to happen. The perceptive might have noted, however, how his eyes seemed to linger on Sunniva's motions overlong as the indications were that the ritual was about to commence.
Just as Sunniva moved to sit down, her head suddenly jerked back and she stood awkwardly with her back arched for a few long seconds before finally, she straightened herself once more and looked at Adelaide with completely white eyes.
Sunniva’s speech sounded less monotonous now, and her expression read many more emotions than one would usually find on the shaman's face. Likely a very strange sight to those used to Sunniva's moony neutrality.
Talas's brow furrowed. For several moments his ire seemed to rise, reacting to this interloping soul with something akin to resentment. It was mastered though, and he remained silent throughout the conversation between Adelaide and the spirit of Brilla.
Her eyes widen at Adelaide once she notices the paladin's gaze.
“Are you... are you looking at me? Can you see me?”
Adelaide was not taken by surprise, instead there was a warm, loving smile waiting when Sunniva/Brilla straightens herself. Even the sudden change in Sunniva's expression and tone had little effect on Adelaide. She recalled Jero in her mind, and how she had held Sunniva in an effort to soothe the poor boy. She knew well, that what possessed Sunniva was not Sunniva, but someone invited.
"I see you, dear Brilla." Adelaide spoke calmly and stepped closer, reached for Sunniva's right hand and took it in her own. "I am Adelaide and my friends here are Herran and Talas." She continued, not giving pause to allow the men to say anything. She did not say anything about Sunniva. "We want to help you, and your beloved Entar. Someone sabotaged your relationship but I know he still loves you, very much, Brilla."
Adelaide's left hand moved upwards and caressed Sunniva's right cheek. "I am sorry I can not say much more but we do not have the time. We need you to help us, so that we can help you and your beloved Entar in turn."
There is a few seconds given, meant to allow Brilla to absorb what was said.
"Do you know that you are dead?" Adelaide asked very softly.
Sunniva looked overwhelmed with emotion, her eyes tearing up as she listened to Adelaide speak. Her eyes briefly flickered to the two men she introduced. She tilted her head to look down at herself then but was stopped by Adelaide's hand on her cheek. Still clearly shaken, her gaze found Adelaide once more.
"Yes, I- I know. I'm a ghost. And Entar, oh my dear Entar, I tried to speak to him, but I couldn't. I tried to warn the Flaming Fist Captain of Ralia's plans, but I couldn't. How I dread this awful, bleak existence!", the words tumbled out of her and her expression grew into one of despair. However she quickly composed herself with a few steady breaths, eager to exchange words.
"Please, please do help. Say what you need me to do.", she almost begged.
Sadness was seen in Adelaide's eyes when Brilla spoke of seeing the wickedness happening. Adelaide's hands offered reassuring touches; a squeeze of the hand held, a stroke of the back.
When Adelaide noticed that Brilla tried to look down at herself/Sunniva, she spoke as reassuringly as she could. "My sister, Sunniva, has lent you a voice. It is why there is not much time."
Upon hearing that, Sunniva looked down at herself once more. Her train of thought was quickly interrupted by the urgency of Adelaide's next question. She looked at the paladin.
"We need to know, Brilla, if you would like to return to the living, or seek peace in the afterlife." The question was said with a tone of importance.
"I want to live. To live and be with Entar.", she responded with much certainty.
Adelaide smiled at the answer. Then she continued to speak, in a gentle tone which still carried seriousness.
"You must be willing to redeem yourself, dear Brilla. In Lathander's eyes, you have gone against what he hopes for us all - a bright future, to think of the consequences of our actions, hope and to always aid others."
The Sunite paladin continued to speak and did not give Brilla time to say something but closely watched her reactions.
"You despaired and lost hope, and you sing and cause great grief and distress to others. For you to redeem yourself in the Morninglord's eyes, you must fully embrace what he stands for. You need to want a bright future with your whole being, your heart and soul. You need to want this not only for yourself but others too."
Brilla's hand is squeezed for a long time. Adelaide's expression tried to convey that she believes that Brilla can do all that is asked.
"Even in the darkest of times, you need to have hope and give others hope. Your song of grief must be turned around to one of joy and hope, to lift others instead of making them feel the despair you once felt."
The wooden symbol of Lathander that was tied to Adelaide's belt was loosened, and pressed into Sunniva's right hand.
"If the Morninglord blesses you with life once more, I know Entar would welcome you in his arms and as his wife. It would be your repentance as well, to let your body be fertile and birth children in Lathander's name, to nurture them together with Entar."
Once again, Adelaide caressed Sunniva's face. "I can not help you much more with how to redeem yourself. I can say how but you need to look within you and find strength there. The song of your heart and soul, it must shift and change."
Sunniva/Brilla absorbed every word the paladin spoke, either out of joy of being spoken to at all or out of a pure desire to do all that is said. Once Adelaide had said her words however, there was a pause and sadness overcame Sunniva once more.
"I do... I do want to live and love. To give my life to the morninglord, whatever it takes." Her fingers curled around Lathander’s symbol, a sense of purpose filled her, if only briefly.
But I'm stuck here in this awful place. And my mother, she took my body. I don't know where. She isn't herself anymore. Maybe my real mother died when.. when I did... What is left of her now..." She trailed off and the wooden symbol fell to the ground, soon followed by Sunniva, who slumped down first to her knees, then to the side like a wet sack of laundry.
The statue of Talas burst into motion as Sunniva fell, the speed he displays in battle in evidence as he darted towards the falling shaman. He had been waiting for such a moment it seemed, and gloved hands reached for the dark clad woman. The paladin's expression was stern, it was a good impression of a solider checking on a comrade perhaps, if one did not notice the gentleness of his motions.
He would seek to take up the unconscious woman in his arms and stand with her, a furtive glance at Adelaide before carrying Sunniva to the inn. No doubt with assistance with the doors.
Adelaide was saddened when it was clear the connection between Sunniva and Brilla was broken. They had not asked everything they had planned to but yet, she was happy that they had relayed what she found to be most important. As Talas dashed towards Sunniva, Adelaide stepped back. As much as she wanted to take her sister in her own arms and be there for her, there was someone else. She looked at Talas, with a gentle smile. There were things to speak of but not here, not now.
The wooden symbol of Lathander that had been dropped, was picked up and tied once more to Adelaide's belt.
Although she had moved to Candlekeep, Brilla’s visions continued to find Sunniva in her sleep. Could it be that the singer was desperately seeking to be heard?

Re: The Ghost Song RP Thread
The realisation crept on her heart in the early morning walk back from the Halls of Inner Light, as the good Captain Thatcher graciously offered to escort Charisa back to the Helm and Cloak. She was alone.
The thought wound around her stomach as a serpent into a knot, after the conversation shared with the Sembian man when he asked to convince him of the tenets of her patron. A helping hand, associates to fulfill a common purpose, or befriending contacts, these were not in lack as were the good of heart. No, where she sat in solitude was her faith. The glazing over of the eyes, the confusing stare or a baffled utterence of Her name, a response she has come to expect from the various encounters had. The degree by which there was understanding was to such a level only those traveled to the City of Splendors, or to have read of the oldest of tomes that would possess the knowledge. There would be no temple to call for support, no ranking Scion to consult, no houses to enjoy as clout, nor standard to follow in the footsteps. It dawned to her that the last great example set within Baldurs Gate was more then a century past, which had fallen into ruin among the upper echelon.
The serpent squeezed, in the pit of the stomach it showed itself the weight of responsibility on her. The mere words explaining her patron, which could work for good or ill, would only suffice to a point. Even then she would need to find them on her lips, for any circumstance she would find herself. The young priestess sunk into the couch of her room as her ruminations progressed.
Lady Ralia Fernswallow, Louis De'Glant and possibly that one footman. All three deserved their due. The documents obtained would point an accusing case to the lady, but the connection with Louis was still thin. Charisa did consider the pair natural allies in ambitions, but the lady had a malice unmatched while ambition only seemed to follow the other.
The seal that was set upon the forgery, the documents used, the accomplices. Charisa would need greater access to the court. She must make arrangements to speak with two of the Grand Dukes in private. The further attention that was drawn away from Charisa, the greater the chances she believed to do the works in the background unnoticed.

Re: The Ghost Song RP Thread
It was a carefully selected group. People who could be trusted, who could be relied on. There was no knowing what exactly they might face and what might happen. Calm minds and a willingness to do what was right were needed. They had agreed on what needed to be done, and how. The Flaming Fist's headquarters was visited, to seek news.
It was a surprise that others were there too. Even larger surprise that Grand Duke Eltan was answering them himself, with Captain Beluarion standing nearby. Adelaide spoke many words herself. Uncertain of when to pause, as the Grand Duke kept waiting for her to continue. So she did, and did not hold back.
Her own words, spoken with certainty. With Herran quick to stand by her side. The others would come too but not go to the lengths Herran and her were willing to. Adelaide thought no less of them. The life, the path, she had chosen - it was for her to walk not those around her. They all joined forces together, making their way not to the house as Herran and herself had thought Brilla's body might be at, but to deep below the city where a foul ritual was to take place. Adelaide conversed with Shandril along the way, staying at the back. The Selûnite had a strange mind but her words were true about the mother and the spirits. Large tree guardians were in place but felled. After those guardians, they were able to locate the place of the ritual itself.
There were protests from some but everything had been decided. There would be no interference, until there was no other choice. Adelaide was appreciative of Derik being firm on following through on those words of hers. To stay not only his mind and hand, but that of others too. He had more strength of spirit than she had judged.
A look was exchanged between her and Herran, and they sheathed their weapons and walked towards the mother who stood by an altar made of wood and stone. A wrapped body lay on top of it, silver chains around it. The mother herself was a miserable sight. Madness and rot had taken over her. Herran hummed a melody that was meant to stir deep emotions in the mother, while Adelaide spoke as gently as she could.
The mother wept. They all felt how her emotions shifted the magical energies around them. The place they were in, was falling apart. Ghosts and other spirits emerged to surround them. Adelaide, with the aid of Herran's song, tried to plead with the mother. Suddenly, the mother stepped away from the body and there were two words uttered - "Take her.". Herran did not hesitate. But he hesitated to leave Adelaide behind. She could hear the others urge him on, as she remained. Kneeling, showing as little hostility as she could, trying to give Herran a nod. To make him continue.
Adelaide had asked if the mother wanted to find peace. It was easier when there was cooperation but it was clear what should be done when it was rejected. And if she failed, the Flaming Fist would do what they had intended and little would be lost. Her hands clasped her holy symbol and she invoked Sune's name in an attempt to throw out any spirit who might be possessing the mother. There was none. Yet, she had to be certain.
The mother was angered, spirits and magic rising in power. With determination, Adelaide quickly stood up and drew her sword, calling upon her goddess again. Sune's power filled her body. Not a tingle of a divine kiss but fury. Her blade slashed and pierced. Each time, judgement was delivered until the mother's form fell. The spirits who had been twisted still came for them. Even as Adelaide attacked the mother, she could feel their ghostly hands reach through underneath her armor, clawing at her skin. But the others had remained and charged in, words of healing both in song and of the divine prevented anyone from perishing while swords and arcane magic tried to take down spirits. Once they had a path out, they made a hasty retreat. Herran having been dragged ahead, with Brilla's body.
If the mother had truly died or not, Adelaide could not be entirely certain of yet she hoped it was so. Captain Beluarion was cautious, which she thought was wise. They arrived back in the city and she wanted to try to bring Brilla back. If the mother had any chance of returning, a resurrection should be attempted soon. The body was brought to the Halls of Inner Light and laid on the altar there. But things were not as simple as they had seemed. They had all agreed on attempting to raise the body - or so Adelaide had thought.
An altar cloth had been asked for, to cover Brilla's body to offer modesty. The words that came from one of the sisters at the temple displeased Adelaide, and they seemed to stand far apart. Shandril tried to task the sisters to prepare the body for delivery to Beregost, to the temple of Lathander there. Adelaide refused to let that happen, knowing the poor relations between Amn and Baldur's Gate. Eldarian's opinion was sought, the answer clear that he thought Lathander would disapprove of someone of another faith reviving Brilla. The answer was not one she expected, as they were allied faiths. She sought clarification, on why she could not call back Brilla.
The answer was scolding. It felt to Adelaide as if all the dislike Eldarian had for her; as a woman, as a paladin of Sune, was conveyed in those words and the tone it was said in. Their relation had consisted of taking one step ahead, and two steps back. It had not been by her choice. Her face remained one of determination, the body covered up in the cloth it had been wrapped in and her arms picking it up.
Her words, spoken aloud. No one prevented her carrying poor Brilla's body out of the temple. No support was offered, either. She felt bitter. Disappointed. Sorrow, for Brilla's body and her soul. The body had not been cleansed, or wrapped in a clean, embroidered cloth as she would have hoped. It would have to be delivered as it was. The only adornment was the wooden symbol of Lathander which Sunniva/Brilla had held was put between folds of cloth. The others followed behind her. They reached the palace but Grand Duke Entar was not available. The body was given over, for when he returned. A quiet apology was offered, for the state of the body and it was forwarded that no ritual to call Brilla back had been attempted.
There should have been a feeling of relief but Adelaide found none. There was a sense of failure, of not having done enough. Was it her pride? She thought not. Those Herran and her had gathered had all agreed to try and raise Brilla as soon as possible, and there was the chance that the mother was not truly dead. No it was not pride. It was love. Love for Brilla. The wishes of wanting the poor young woman to be happy, to see the Grand Duke Entar happy. Not because of his title but because they had loved one another so deeply. A true love. Only brought down by the wickedness of others. She had fought and done what she could, for love. The most sacred thing to her goddess. To call it pride was a deep insult not just to her but to her faith; to Sune.
She had to push it aside. To try and tell herself, it came from someone who was unwell. But was she just making excuses for him?
Adelaide returned to her room in the Helm and Cloak. A note had been left for her. Familiar writing but the words all wrong. There was a sinking feeling in her stomach. The note was left where it was and the armor pieces slowly taken off. Dried blood flaked away.
She had done what she could for Brilla, and Entar. For the mother. There were other things to do, now.
"If I fail, you have lost little. If I succeed, you have gained much."

"Your pride, Adelaide."

Julia continues making her rounds of the City venues, singing many songs. One in particular is sung quite often:
* Sung to the tune of Long Peggin' Awl
An Ogre was a-walking one morning in May
He met a pretty fair maid, her gown it was gay.
He step-ped up to her, and back she did fall
She let her be tak'n by his great Big Blue Balls.
He said, "Sweet Lady R have you a job for me,
Bandits and cutthroats may I offer to thee?
Yes I will do for you, what e'er you may call
If't means that you play with my great Big Blue Balls."
She smiled as she schemed a rude game she would play
And unto the Ogre these words she did say,
"A Lady and Captain ill fortune befall,
I'll show'r my love on your great Big Blue Balls."
"Lady R, Lady R, your will shall be so!
The Lady and Captain shall know only woe!
They'll scream and they'll beg when I bring 'bout their fall
If you promise to tickle my great Big Blue Balls."
"O Ogre, O Ogre, pray what comes of thee?
The Lady and Captain from your grasp they did flee!
What ill chance has taken you out of my thrall
No more shall I ride on your great Big Blue Balls."

He looks over his list; two tasks completed in a single night. Ankhet was so pleased he almost didn't mind the minor amount of weight added to his pack from his recently purchased celebratory brandy. The smile curling is squashed, however, as he nearly trips over a homeless person sitting on the street. He quickly ignores them and continues making his way to the enclave.
He adds a new entry to the list: Examine Lady R. Her involvement in all of this put the city at a substantial risk, and likely for no valid reason. Proving her involvement continues to be elusive due to the unfortunate death and disintegration of the one known witness to see her. Pashuz goes to great lengths to keep his clothing pristine, but he's almost positive there's still bits of blue dust in his boots.
Would concrete proof even be necessary? Perhaps there can be other solutions to ridding the city of her, Ankhet should have to explore that. For now though, it seems there others he can trust to some extent, and they seem willing to cooperate despite his employers.
He folds the list, stuffing it in his breast pocket as he steps onto Thayan soil. Perhaps there will be letters waiting inside.

Personal messenger of Grand Duke Entar, Feya Longhair was last seen traveling south along The Trade Way. She was seen briefly refreshing at the Friendly Arm Inn before continuing her Journey south.
The woman was seen on foot, armed and in good health. She carried a personal letter of the Duke.
It is unknown where her destination was. It is suspected either Amn or Candlekeep.
She has not been seen since.
She is now half a Tenday over due for her return to Baldurs Gate.
This is troubling news.
----------------------------------
Feya Longhair was a woman with short brown hair, and trained in field plate. She wore the colors of Baulders Gate on her arm. She was a faithful of the god of travelers and made prayer to him at the Friendly Arm Inn.
Feya was armed with a long blade and minor magic wards. She carried a leather messenger bag that was warded by arcane lock. She was very professional and polite. She was known to be a friendly face on the Trade Way striking up conversation with out travelers and always willing to help.
She had a fondness for aiding the youth and orphans sometimes found abandoned on the Trade Way. She was not a wealthy woman but her loyalty was said to be absolute as having personal faith in the god of Messages.
She was immune to scry.
