Permanent rename after using disguise?

I had never used this skill before and wanted to give it a try. I changed my character Solus's name to "Armored Knight", his sub-race to "Human", and left gender blank. As far as I could tell, the disguise worked as his name did change. Whether or not his sub-race changed to human, I couldn't tell because it still had Aasimar on his character sheet. I ran around for a bit and then logged because I had coursework to do.

I then logged back in later and was surprised to find that Solus now bore the name "Armored Knight" at character selection. I figured it was just because I hadn't removed the disguise. So I logged in and found myself in the OOC entry area. I right clicked on him and selected the disguise toggle, but was again surprised when it asked me to enter my disguised name, sub-race, and gender again.

I took a guess that the server reset/crash had glitched up his name since I hadn't removed the disguise before logging. I figured "disguising" him again using his real name and waiting for the next reset/crash would fix it back. So I set the disguise name to "Solus", left the other fields blank, then logged again to take care of RL stuff. Unfortunately, when I came back another day, I found Solus bore the "Armored Knight" name once again. Further attempts have either resulted in this or simply left Solus still in his disguise as "Solus." Using the disguise toggle again reverts his name back to "Armored Knight."

On the plus side, I'm going to RCR the character anyway, so a name fix isn't necessary. I just wanted to point out this apparent bug with the disguise toggle and server resets/crashes. Let me know if you need any further information from me about the issue.
