I think this is intentional. It's always been that way iirc. :P

You know, I wouldn't have anything against it, despite the fact that actually 2 out of 3 mobs "Summon Baatezu" summons are actually incredibly weak and Neeshka is one of em... low, ac, low ab. Basically a mob that just tanks for u for up to 3 - 5 rounds and then dies...

Neeshka is not for fighting, she is for RP! Been one of my favorite characters in oc.
Tad - mercenary of the Phoenix Company. Now spending most of time in Friendly Arms, where he rents a room.
Corwin - Who am I? - Lost memory after injuries in the Undead war..

Quite a lot of the summons actually seem underpowered in comparison to others and I don't understand why it was developed this way.

I noticed the other day that Gate for instance summons a level 7 Djinn with no weapon... what's the point of that? It's like some kind of beginner's trap. Unless you know that the only worthwhile ones to summon are the Angel and the Balor (or the Xorn) then you just end up pretty much wasting your spell.

We'll probably look into better balancing these summons eventually.

well the issue with summons is an old one, well before that script that has some of its own downsides apparently (like the crash issue it had/still has?)

however in the case of hellfire warlock, that summon has never been touched as in its the original version from the OC, so it has always been behind along with PM summons

tho of course i was given the chance to improve PM summons but people ended up pissin luna off about the summon thing and then everything was cut short, so nothing else was done to summons for years till that script came along if you ignore minor things done to gate (alignment thing)

but now with the latest update of new stuff/challenges most summons are underpowered to help and the ones that sucked before just stand out even worse now

Evil summons should be worth the risk to summon.(Why summon a devil to grind your enemies to paste when a elemental is just as strong)

And give em some fun facts about the summons aswel like disable summoning a vamp in day light.

Give demons a 5% chance to turn on there summoner.

well, summons in general should be as strong as they are suppose to be

tho with vamps, thats not something to restrict to a summon but to vamps in general, but then again that would also be very annoying because of how some maps are set that it should not apply to but it would, like probably in the UD that uses outside maps in a few places instead of interior ones because of build limitations

the infernal one, while fun, would basically be like returning the hellfire summon to its original function where it did the same thing... the chaotic ones at the end of the duration turned on you and attacked and the lawful ones just returned to hell; problem with that people can (and use to) leave the hostile summon in low level areas... so you can imagine how well that idea is gonna go over :P
