The last few day's have been interesting and not what i had expected of the sword coast. The place seems full of penguins, I am not sure if its the fashion or just the collection of evil gatherings in the area, I suppose time will tell. That said one of the penguins did direct me to a group of magical mouse in exchange for a little information on the dreamscape. I wouldn't call my self an expert but it is my favorite area of study.
It took me a while to find the magical mouse king but after a small interview he allowed me to join the mischief. The interview was interesting and thankfully i managed to avoid sharing to much personal information, By distracting him with a request for matching hats. While some of the faction might be penguins in disguise its easier to guide from within. Joining was well timed as my position saved me from an old badger, Who wanted to take a journal from me that told the tale of an unfortunate warlock. Why the old badger wanted the journal is beyond me, However i think its safe to say he is a person to watch closely, This church he speaks of jumps me right to Bane or Bhaal. For now i will keep a hold of the journal maybe one day i can turn this into a lesson, The true coast of a fiend pact.
I have also found a place to stay among the squirrels within the forest, Its been a while since i have been part of such a thing but the squirrel council was rather inviting. I look forward to living among them while i remain upon the coast, For however long i decide to stay. While i am here i might as well do my best to aid them if i can in Angharradh's name. Being away from squirrels so long has started to tax my bound with them, It will be nice to see it recover.
There was also two other individuals of note a red raccoon was very helpful in telling me about the area, We even went and explored a maze filled with Minotaur's. The trip was rather productive and i doubt i could have found my way without her aid. Silly mazes take so very long. She spoke of the Human Goddess of beauty and maybe that is what made her kind, in the past i had considered the goddess somewhat vain but maybe that was a poor interpretation. I also met a blue bear who helped me battle Sahuagin before they could raid Ulgoths, A friendly druidess who also understood the importance of civilization. Something rather rare for a human druid in my experience. She does seem young but this shows a level of wisdom beyond her years, perhaps there is greater balance between the wilderness and civilization within the Gate then i initially thought. all in all it had been a productive tenday, I look forward to what i might discover in day's to come.
The journal entry ends with a picture at the base, Of a blue dire bear with a saddle being ridden by an elf with purple hair and a large spear.
