Colouring your belt.

Hi All!

When using the item appearance kit some armors come with a belt, is there a way to dye this belt or somehow change colors on it at all?

If I remember correctly, the stock NWN2 'belt' armor parts are not tintable. But custom armor parts such as the 'tabards' and 'loincloths' are.

As for whether those can be changed and tinted, well, only if you have that 'belt' listed somewhere among the options to adjust armor parts.

Not unless they mod the appearance changer widget to allow such for specific armour piece appearance changes. Sigil has this feature so it can be done.

What I'm talking about here is that there's Gloves (item) and there's gloves (appearance option related to the armour one is wearing). Same goes for belt, boots, helm, etc. These need to be enabled for armour slot specific editing in order to be able to do such things.

Cant be done yet but the dms say more features will be added to the appearance changer in the coming months so it may become possible soon.

Btw... any idea on a time-frame on the new options for the new item changer?
