Error using Inscribe Rune, Rested, then Inventory ERASED!!

My PC Aldebaran just leveled up, I selected Inscribe Rune feat, tried using it, received a failure message in the Combat Log. Then, I Rested the toon. THEN...his Inventory auto-erased!!!

Sorta speechless....





And a whole lot more lost! Help!

EDIT: I logged out and back in, directly...and the Server seems to react as if I just created this toon for the first time (it even gave me the beginning 1,000 coin!).

Wow. I've seen items disappearing randomly from inventory but never on this level.

Hey funny guy...it ain't like I broke it in the first place!!

I had to make a few extra adjustments that missed the window. The runes aren't 'specially' marked in the way I hoped they were, having to check against three different types of variables set on them (including the location set to ensure that it's a rune/marked plant).

Saw the commit, it seems irrespective of the object, but if that works, we'll go with that.

Bit more seriously .. the destructive part ran a check on an int tied to the runes while cycling through the inventory, if it found an already existing rune of the nth level it destroyed it before allowing the creation of a new rune of that level.

Except I completely forgot that by default the GetLocalInt returns 0 and not None (why bioware, why), so I think the script saw all the items in Aldebaran's inventory as level 0 runes and started the Jokullhaups. Now if it sees a 0 it stops (yeah you won't have runes of cantrips).

Just to be clear:

There was a single inscribed rune in Aldebaran's Inventory from when I last tried this out, and experienced his Inventory erased.

So, I purchased 5 new unmarked Runes, and decided to cast Mark Rune on one of them (which was successful, as you can see).

Then I tried casting Teleport to an Unmarked Rune, and if failed. Since it reported a "BadStreff" I thought maybe the custom spell won't work.

I used up the 1 Mass Heal inscribed Rune that was in the Inventory, and you can see it returned the info "13 other runes remain," yet I have no other Inscribed Runes in the Inventory...not to mention Aldebaran should be limited to only 9 Runes, as per his 9 lvls of Spells.

Then, as you can see from the screen shot, no further casting attempts work.

Also, you may notice that the first time I toggled on Inscribe Rune, the default CL was set to 25. But the second time I activated it, the CL defaulted to 28. Why?

I know this is counter-intuitive but .. don't cast it on a rune. Cast on yourself, or on the ground, anywhere but a rune-for-teleport item.

You should be able to make runes that way, an item will be created in your inventory from nothingness. Note that you'll get a message saying you have more runes than you really have but that shall be gone next update.

I did try casting with only the Character highlighted!

But I will try today casting with nothing highlighted.
