Mithril Fullplates have always been around 600k, to my knowledge.

I usually do Cloudpeaks, Cloakwood, and Snake Hill runs to earn gold. The Snake Hills has 2 bosses, the Cloudpeaks has the iron mines, frost king, and the new lich boss. Cloakwood, of course, has the minotaurs, Chaos, and the hag cave. All are doable with an FvS, and far easier with the builds I suggested earlier (EDM+Expose Weakness Favored Soul).

Make sure to pick up anything +1 and over. I generally leave unenchanted stuff in chests (my small protest to unenchanted stuff being a thing in those boss chests :( ), they really aren't worth lugging back imo. You'll make a decent amount of coin per reset. Even with only +1 and +2 stuff, selling to merchants gives a decent profit. Auction +3 stuff, and sell +4 stuff to players directly.

There are several new epic merchants that sell +4 stuff. There is a merchant in the hells (At Dragonspear Castle there is a portal), there is a merchant in the Thayan Enclave, and there is a merchant in the Blushing Mermaid at the Dock's District. All of them have +4 equipment, with the Hells Merchant and the Thayan Enclave merchant being of the best quality. The Hells Merchant has the most variance, and has something for everybody.

With an EDM+Expose Favored Soul you'll have 27-28 CL. Both of which are fine for dispels, and the like. I wouldn't go below 27, personally.

I played a FVS 24/3 rogue/3 blackguard.

It was a walk in the park EDM build. Dont even need good items.

Got bored and went to cleric build for a bit more of a challenge and also reason to team up with others.

In the end comes down your playstyle, type of character you want.

if you are here to be incredibly strong just make a str bard or wis druid, EDM FVS too is up there.

While I'm admittedly rusty now, I'm generally not a slouch who needs a fully maximized tier one build. I like things fairly simple yet non-standard, for some flavor.

For myself, my reason to team up with players is witty remarks, jokes, and playful insults. However, I do strongly dislike being the weak member of any group that slows people down. I also try and make "group friendly" spell choices, just so others like having me around.

It certainly doesn't feel right going and hunting minotaurs and hags with an epic. I remember those areas, and they aren't even remotely challenging for me solo. I'd feel like I was blocking groups from enjoying content closer to to their CR. What about experience? Shouldn't epics be off somewhere fighting at least 20 exp enemies for themselves instead of 1 to 5 exp enemies?

Frost Giants in the Frost Keep and Lizards near there are great XP for 23+ PCs. There is also Naga cave and Yuanti palace in the North High Moors area. Those are the best two areas for a mid epic PC to go. If you are level 27+ then you can go to the Grey Peaks and Vault of the Dead. Just beware the bosses of both these areas are 30+ CR. Frost Giant King is 27+ CR and the Lizard Chief is 24+ CR.

If you were on Darkhold ascent this area is completely off the charts, forget it and explore the rest.

May have been Darkhold. Was fighting a self-buffing ogre spellcaster, then I believe it was a Gnoll with a great axe that flanked me out of the blue. Was the side of some mountain, but wasn't there long before Fugue.

That's the Darkhold Ascent, yep, and yeah that area is pretty deadly.

Yep Darkhold. It is doable by a FvS for sure but you have to be smart about it. Either Sanct it all the way up to Darkhold or be careful how you agro the mobs. It is usually wise to pull a few at a time from the spawn point and not be in that spawn area to at least keep from being ambush spawned on.

If your around the Darkhold area you might as well make a run through the Reaching woods. Mid epic range.

Can't get nwn2 database builder to work on my iPhone. Anyone have any tips for a better browser? Meanwhile, as best I can figure progression on a pure Favored Soul would be:
Hidden: show
1/ Feat 1, Racial Feat Bonus (human)
2/
3/ Feat 2
4/ Ability 1
5/
6/ Feat 3
7/
8/ Ability 2
9/ Feat 4
10/
11/
12/ Ability 3, Feat 5
13/
14/
15/ Feat 6
16/ Ability 4
17/
18/ Feat 7
19/
20/ Ability 5
21/ Epic Feat 8
22/
23/ Bonus Feat 1st, Epic Feat 9
24/ Ability 6
25/ Epic Feat 10
26/ Bonus Feat 2nd
27/ Epic Feat 11
28/ Ability 7
29/ Bonus Feat 3rd, Epic Feat 12
30/
Playing around with a Rebuild that utilizes Mithral Fullplate. I figure an EDM build would work well with these starting abilities, but requires three epic ability feats:
Hidden: show
Str 16
Dex 13
Con 13
Int 10
Wis 8
Cha 16
Taking three or four Cleric levels would lose the last Favored Soul bonus feat, if I remember correctly?
