Hey. This is Mordael, the player of Daelin and others. I want to preface this by saying that I am not fishing for sympathy or attention. Now that that is out of the way, let's get to it.

I have been suffering from a plethora of psychological issues my whole life, not the least of which is Depression. Some events have recently happened IRL (No deaths or illnesses, just general bad stuff), that have caused my Depression to... "flare up" as it were. Therefore I may not be logging in as often as I was. I am going to try, but, It may be hard for me. So I might pop in for an hour every once in a while just to say "Hi, I'm still here, still interested in what's going on". Or I might get re-addicted and go crazy playing all the time. It will depend on how my depression affects me this time. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, as I like the community here, and don't want people thinking I've simply left.

We shall be here for you when you're ready to return to your virtual home away from home. Please take care. Depression is a big dragon, but with allies, doctors, and self-confidence it can be slain. Don't ever feel you have to go it alone.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling worse. Take what time you need to settle your mind. Do not let the 'oh no I am missing out'-feeling get to you. You will catch up on the important bits eventually and there is always something happening anyway! If being in-game is difficult maybe try to stick to forums and writing PMs (IC or OOC) to keep more in touch. Only a suggestion and I realize people who have a down period can find any writing difficult but the positives of forums connections is that you can take a break at any time and type slowly.

A quick update for people.

I am currently doing a little better and have recently started playing again. I am going to try hard to keep it up, but there are no guarantees about how long or stable my play time will be. For now, at the least, I am having fun and finding myself as enthralled by the server as when I first started. So, here's hopping I can keep this up.
