It's not a Pale Master build, I put it in the build name. Pale Master stands in for Archmage.BigJ wrote: Edit: Oh and don't play that palemaster build if you are new to this, it may draw IC problems on the surface, depending on who see's it.

I saw it.
It is pretty much a caster build. I am not a fun for ICE and wizards, as it eats up 2 feats. With all the DR and concealment, and should have close to 40 ac, you should be OK.
I think you need more DC to be more reliable for enchantment spells. Yeah that means less epic spells.
Also for the website, try using classes that have close caster progression so the DC s and CL will be closer represented.

If the text is this color, I am on duty, everything else is just my humble opinion.

You mean that big capital letter title at the top? Oops, my bad lol, I just read the classes.CleverUsername123 wrote:It's not a Pale Master build, I put it in the build name. The build itself is fine, you can tweak here and there for preference but it shouldn't be too tough with that build.
As others have said, and again myself making assumptions, its just a matter of practise playing a wizard (I only started trying them myself last couple of years).
Load up Jpegs, spawn a 5-6 low level mobs and try a few things out there. If you can't let go of getting stuck in when a fight starts rather than holding back, then think about a Gish / still spell build whilst you learn the wizard stuff.
Also, although maybe not popular advice try adding a Rune of Acid / or Fire to your build. They do decent (2d6 per spell lvl), repeatable, AoE damage that you can throw out at the start of a fight and not draw aggro (30 sec cooldown). They fade in usefulness in the epic levels, but are great in helping you get to epics whilst you learn other techniques. Still useful for grunt mobs though.
Good luck,
BigJ
