A blonde girl is dragging a large bag behind her. It clearly takes her effort and the bag leaves a trail in the sand and dirt of the road. Finally, at the marketplace around Baldur's Gate she stops and sits on top of the bag, just to catch her breath.
She mumbles: 'Well, this better be worth all the hard work...' and then starts to stall out what she had in that large bag.
Odd looking thing, looks old too. Oh well, who knows, after cleaning the thing it might be of use to someone still!' She smiles as she wipes off some dust from the armor.

An older gentleman stops by the young blonde's table. He is tall with a grey beard and long whispy grey hair. He wears a shining suit of platemail with the symbol of Mystra emblazoned on the chest and on his shield he carries at his side. "Greetings, miss. I am Loric Alaryss. Might I take a closer look on your armor you have there?" Upon closer inspection he says, "Yes, this is quite old. And quite a find too! If you are looking to sell it, I will offer you 30 bags along with access to my extensible arcane crafting and brewing skills. You supply the raw materials (gold and bone wand, etc) and I will not charge any fee for service. This would only apply to you, of course."

'Oh...' the girl says. 'Are you a real wizard? I mean like... really real?' She gazes at the man in front of her. Catching herself staring with open mouth she averts her eyes with a hint of blushed cheeks and continues talking with just enough volume for him to hear. Well...yes, I do want to sell this thing. I certainly am not going to haul this piece back home again. she sighs as she watches the armor, clearly feeling the weight in memory. 'What do you say if you just add 10 more bags? She looks up with a big broad smile.

"Yes indeed my dear. I am a wizard and paladin of the Lady Mystra." He seems a bit gruff but returns the girl's smile along with a wink. "It seems you drive a hard bargain so I will relent. In fact, why don't we make it 50 bags and you can tell me the story where you found such a suit of armor. It will take me some time to restore it to its original condition and would like to think upon its history as I do."

'50 bags? Deal! The girl jumps up with a grin and offers her hand.

'And where I got it? Well...That is a funny story. I exchanged this armor for a ring I had with an adventurer. He wanted to give it to his love as an engagement ring. Sure, it was nice but trust me, everyone knows engagementrings need to have at least a diamond in it.' she shrugs.
'Oh well... So, in exchange for that ring I got this armor. He told me he found it high up in the mountains of the grey peaks. Perhaps it belonged to someone who did not make it out of there... She scratches her head. 'Though the armor is perfectly fine and not damaged. Makes you wonder doesn't it?'
