Don't even think about a STR 8 toon - he probably can't carry his own kamas.

My current character has 8 base str Theodore :D So yeah, getting 10 will definitely be an upgrade.

So for the dervish build version its just a matter of going 10str and cut down on con a little bit.

Still need to figure out which one to pick though.

Swashbuckler's Insightful Strike does not work against Sneak Immune/Crit Immune. Hence, why the Swashbuckler class got an upgrade to receive Epic Precision at lvl 12 (but then you need to have a lvl 12 Swash!!).

Dervish Dance is limited to 2 min x 5 per Rest. So that 5 extra AB/DMG is situational. And don't forget the penalties you receive when tired, before getting Tireless Dance.

Hmmm so those are the negatives of the two builds I suppose.

Does this mod have many sneak immunes? Does Combat Insight work vs sneak immune?

Currently I think im edging towards the swashbuckler build.

BTSCC has plenty sneak immune mobs. Just like many mobs with Damage Reduction.

Combat Insight works like Strength, so it always applies.

If combat insight along with expose weakness still works then its a minor concern i suppose. (as long as the enemy doesnt have damage reduction along with the sneak immunity at least)

Got any last tips/recommendations here in the final hour to add?

Hi! :D

after talking with you I read your queries.

Pick the higher strength - I've tried with 8 strength an its just not most enjoyable. People are nice but, is nice to carry one's own treasure too...

also make sure you're leveling a way you'll enjoy - "it'd be tough" but, so I imagine you enjoy a challenge : )

Just as a footnote: the Smart Shredder is optimized for combat, but can be made into a STR build (with +13 STR) at only small cost (initial DEX towards STR, Epic DEX to replace CI, some other minor changes).

It should be decent even between dances.

With some careful ability point shuffling and skill point loss, going for +13 STR could open up the Halfling race with Oversized TWF, for quicker levelling.

alternatively, consider this

can swap out WoD for SD for more reliable flurries.
Schrödinger's Cyricism: NPCs simultaneously know everything and nothing about Cyric until observed by the Cyricist. Then they default to the state that disadvantages the Cyricist the most.

WoD is cool with the dmg reduction and the buff to weapons. +2 vampiric weapons would almost make him unkillable i guess.

Seriously.. WTF..... All love for the casters again. Id say thats the only problem here really, casters getting way too much love and non-casters getting none... WoD 1 dmg point... Not even worth buffing for lol.

Edit: A saving grace for WOD is that it does increase once he reaches lvl 10. But still weak.

True that. And I do enjoy the mod and the game. That was just a bit of a sour remark adressing the 1 thing i have a problem with here. (casters vs non-casters)

Ye so right now im stuck between ashe and Rudolphs dervish build :)
