So, I wondered what the wealth brackets would look like on BGtSCC.
Here's a poll, just for fun.

There are a few players (not me) that have mastered the art of trading. They put up a bunch of epic quality stuff, but any time someone shows interest they always require a finders fee (kind of like a pawn shop, I suppose). Essentially if you have an epic item of roughly equal quality to the one they have which you want, they will require you to give them ~100-250K in addition to your epic item. Else they will sometimes require two or even three of your epic items in exchange for the one you want. Not sure how much this has changed since the epic stores went live, but they still have unique DM reward type epics, like an Assassins Finger ring with +4 INT instead of +2 or a Shortsword with +5 Hide/MS instead of +3. Nothing wrong with this style of play, in fact it's smart OOC and it is realistic IC. What merchant is ever going to be happy with an "even trade"?Hawke wrote:I can barely keep 10k. How on earth do people have 10 million ? LOL!
Tsk, your salary would be paid if you came to work! Lazy merchant officer.Zanniej wrote:Let's see, I owe a couple of people a bunch of gold, my salary still didn't come . . . where are the negative numbers!?

Nice try, IRS agents.
