Server down?

I can not log in now. I have dynamic IP and I previously were able to join only by clicking link above on the forum. Now even that does not help. This happened after theese series of restarts of the server.

Try clicking the link again and waiting a few minutes. Also use the server browser for better results (a lot of times the direct connect will lack the correct port or have a space or a small typo in it that will cause the connection to fail).

Sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing. We shouldn't be forced into this whitelist situation forever, but for the time being we're still under occasional DDOS attacks so the protection has to remain up for now so anyone can play at all.

I tried many times. Clicked link, waited 5 minutes, nothing. Also I log on surely correct host and port combo which just was saved from previous log-ins I did hour ago.

EDIT: I am pretty sure that the linky above forums just stopped working - at least for me - after the those series of restarts and fix.

I'd still try the server browser just to make 100% sure as it's pretty easy to get a stray space or number in there even if you think you didn't touch a single key. If your IP is on the Whitelist and you can't get through it could be your ISP causing the issue (unlikely given the timing but still possible).

If it doesn't clear up in a little while feel free to shoot me and Aspect of Sorrow a PM with your IP address so we can try to investigate the issue further.

Nothing works. I tried.

I am pretty sure there is an issue with whitelisting script or something in that area - simply I can not be whitelisted now, just after the series of issues and server fix. (one on the linky).

Aaand it crashed. May have been a coincidence or may have been related to our app. Aspect of Sorrow is looking into it, but at the very least when it is up you should be able to get through!

Maybe the machine didn't like my character getting a little too excited watching a bandit suffocate to death with the Flesh to Stone spell....

Found the culprit of tonight's crashes, will address it in the next 24h.

So now, when not being able to log into the Server because of Timeout Error Message, then clicking on the "if you can't login, click here, and try again in 5 minutes" at the top of the Forum, I am getting this:

after the server reset logged back in to a great deal of lag... Was up for maybe 20-30 minutes and it just crashed. someone double logging or sharing a router, maybe?
