Re: A song and a stall - Friendly Arm Inn
A blonde haired giant of a man approaches the stall. "you play good music little man, very impressive indeed. I am interested in your halberd that you have for sale. I will offer 10 bags. My name is Skaldi."

Feeling somewhat bemused at his six foot frame being called little, he none the less shrugs at the larger man and nods with a smile.
"Aye, ten bags will do fine for that weapon sir."

Re: A song and a stall - Chord Silverstrings, Friendly Arm I
*Fingal walks up to the stall, and extends his hand in greeting to Chord*
My good man, the helmet you have there *He points to the Laurel Crown*
What are your asking price? I see my brother didn't strike luck with you trying to buy it for 75.000, I can agree that is a bit to low.. But I hope you have done your research on items for sale or otherwise available currently.. But I am sure an aspiring merchant as yourself has done that, so why am I even asking? *he says with a small smile towards the man*
I would put down a bid for 200.000 for it, and if that's not to your liking, I strongly suggest that you do that research. *he tips his hat to the man and awaits his response while looking the rest of the items over with little interest*

Re: A song and a stall - Chord Silverstrings, Friendly Arm I
Having just returned from a bit of travel and tended his stall back in to order Chord would accept Fingal's offered hand and smile to him in return.
"Well met my friend! I assure you I have done my research and these crown's are quite unique. The appraiser I brought the item to recommended I not accept less than 400 bags for the item. Now, I'm a reasonable fellow, and that does seem a lot to pay for a piece of headwear, so what say we split the difference, you and I? 300 bags for me, and the fine crown of laurels, for you."
He once again grins at Fingal and awaits his response.
///Also added Tower Shield +4.

You do realize that there's one almost just like it for sale for 80.000 right? It only empowers the user with one additional spell per day, from a not so useful circle. I agree, once they used to be priceless, sadly that is not the case anymore.
*He smiles to the man before waiting for his reply*

Re: A song and a stall - Chord Silverstrings, Friendly Arm I
Chord tips his cap, showing the laurels beneath it before giving Fingal a grin of his own
"I'm quite aware of the benefit that this crown provides and I can tell you only that all three circles are quite beneficial for additional castings of those spells we bards can always use more of and they never last long enough. Coupled with the benefit to a skill that is the corner stone of any minstrel worth his metal and the fact that there are no merchants that carry such a rare piece in stock regularly and I would say that my appraiser has provided adequate pricing, which I've reduced further in order to split the difference with your offer. Should you travel further north there are similarly enchanted crowns, but those merchants will not even accept gold for them, only trade for items of equal or greater power. I'm afraid if you are unwilling to accept the bargain I've offered, I will need to kindly decline your offer and await someone in greater need, who appreciates the benefits this fine item grants. I can appreciate you and of your families skill in negotiation, but I am already offering the item for a quarter less than I was told it is worth, yes?"
He would give Fingal a half bow and a genuine smile before picking up his mandolin and beginning to tune the instrument.

*He shrugs and tips his hat to Chord*
Have a fine day, if you are so lucky to get it sold for that much I will buy you a drink!
*he shakes his head with a feint chuckle as he walks off to send a sending*

After some time away, Chord is seen near the Friendly Arm once again, strumming his lute and attempting to sell his loot. He has a friendly, if mischievous smile as he greets passerby with a song and a nod.

A handsome hin in expensive-looking armor inspects the sign in front of the tent.
"Hmm I'd like this ring of yours..." *points to the sign where "purple dragon ring" is written* "I'm tired of squinting through the many darknesses my adventures take me."
"Would 10 bags fetch the ring then?"
As he flashes pearly white teeth the the sunlight glints off of them "The names Kajan"
