Blunt back to Maltz's

I have gotten two tells since I've been here which isn't long saying this same thing when I was in the weapons shop in BG proper. "Where does one go to just get a normal weapon here? I cannot afford any of this stuff"

That Maltz has no mundane gear is another supreme oddity much like the gold dragon characters free to all in Sigil.

Please move Blunt the Basic Arms merchant -away- from the Eastern Farmlands and -back- to Maltz's weapon shop. It seems that despite the fact the basic item merchant is in the same area new players spawn in at the start of the game, feedback such as this tells me this location is simply not working.

Nooooo, don't do that.

It's really unnecessary as it would add more (long) area transitions for any player.

Wouldn't it be better to just give Maltz basic gear as well?

So the orcs will have to punch there way to level 3? Why not just have 2 merchants? One in maltz shop and one in the farmlands.

We can probably clone the basic gear merchant to all of the appropriate starting areas if an area developer has the motivation to do so. I don't think it'd be a ton of work to put one in Maltz's shop and wherever else they're needed?
