He tends to miss sarcasm and more often than not responds in literal sense. Tends to roam alone, but joins others when he deems them compatable or common goal. He is rarely seen in built up areas, mainly towns and cities, but if the need arises, he wanders in briefly for specific purposes. He keeps his hair in a single braid, unlike most Rashemen males keeping their hair in two braids, this is his recognition of only being a half-breed. He keeps small idol/models of creatures, and some trees, on a leather string around his neck to signify learnings and gifts/abilities that he has. He is fascinated with dragon heritage. And he recognises the mental health benefits of fishing. He uses fishing also as a means of monitoring how the land interacts with the water in long drawn cycles.

Background:
Jandar was born to a single mother in a small village outside of the Ashenwood in Rashemen. His mother, Hulmurra, grew up in the poor parts of Mulsantir, the trading city on the Golden Way through Rashemen. In her early adult years she made ends meet by working as a serving girl in the local taverns, there she had a chance meet with a Trader from Shou Lung, on a return trip back East. Their brief romance resulted in Jandar. As soon as she realised she was pregnant, she gathered what little she owned, and fled north and settled in a small village on the outskirts of the Ashenwood to begin her family life.
Jandar's early years were hard in the village, and was frequently shunned and teased by other children because of his heritage and family. He wasn't strong and fierce like most young boys who played and trained eventually to become warriors. He regularly wandered off alone, seeking solace in rocky outcrops on hillocks, and often venturing into the outer edges of the Ashenwood.
Time would go by, many years added to him, he finds a love for all things wild, and a natural comfort among the land and all those that inhabit it naturally. Through these years at points, he has irregular contact with local Spirit Guides and Shamans, and learns like most in Rashemen, of the respect and recognition of the spirits of the land. As he reaches 10 years old, a witch inspects him and others that have reached the age for abilities in Magic. While he doesn't "pass", he also doesn't "fail" and the witchs send him off to the Old Ones for further assessment. It is there they identify something different in the boy...
The Old Ones inform him that he is not an arcane practitioner but he has 'magical' abilties of a different sort. He stays with them for the next 10 years... but regularly wanders off to the nearby wilds as he is prone to do. During these years he begins to develop and learn about his abilities. He finds that he can change his body in small ways, skin texture, body shape, enhance sense minutely. He finds that he can cast spells, of a natural flavour, influencing the environment around him, promoting... or taking life where he deems. All the while, the Old Ones have been monitoring him, when they can, and they recognise his talents but are unaccustomed to training and developing them fully.
At age 20, like all others before him, he is cast off on his Dejemma. Firstly... under the advice of the Old Ones.. he heads West, leaving Rashemen to the Forest of Lethyr where he meets up with other outcasted Natural Practitioners of Druidic nature. Here he spends a few more years, coming to terms with his ability with spells, his ability to change his body, and his natural way of living. All the while... unfinished business still 'niggles' in the back of his mind.
Remembering the small amount of information that his mother informed him of his Father... he set off East age 25. He passed through Mulsantir, followed the game trails mirroring the Golden Way, eventually making his way through the Sunrise Mountains. While moving off the trails into the completely wild parts, he found signs of ancient ruins, and indications that the area had a Draconic presence at a point in time. While exploring the a shallow cave he discovered ancient rock art, depictions of a local culture and their daily lives, but many more detailed images of Draconic worship. He had heard tales of the Great Wyrms that roam the skies, beasts of ancient wisdom and beauty. Here were painted images in ochre and other natural pigments of a culture living in harmony with them. This fascinated him, and released a deep yearning for more.
He eventually kept on his journey East, following the Golden Way towards Shou Lung, in search of his Father. During his journeys, in his efforts to enquire about his father, he began to learn the Shou language. During the journey he learnt to survive in many climates and environments, from tablelands, marshes through to the Desert... where his search came to an end. On the outskirts of Quoya desert lies a small trading hub called Qihar. It was here whilst walking through the markets he heard the name of his father shouted out by a woman in a derogatory manner. In tow behind her, were a half dozen children all of different ages, as she angrily stormed towards an open air drinking establishment. It would seem that his father never made it all the way back to Shou Lung proper. Keeping his distance, he watched the events unfold as the man was dragged from the Inn, with the lady cursing and spouting abuse at the man, Jandar followed them back to a small house. He was not impressed with what he saw... the man whom he had wanted to meet... was not worthy of being met. Satisfied he had finally closed this chapter, Jandar set off back West.
He eventually arrived back in Rashemen in low profile, age 32, and made his way to the village to where his mother lived. Arriving at the small house he found it had decayed to ruin and his mother not there. After some brief enquiries around the neighbourhood he learnt that his mother had passed away to illness in a deep cold season three winters before. Paying his respects to her spirit at her burial stone, he came to the realisation there was nothing left for him here.
Having travelled the lands East, he decided there was much to explore West, and see if any more hidden and forgotten cultures that revered the Dragons were out there.
