Î have failing casts with mage armor and mirror image.

I think it happens when you try to cast multiple spells in a row. The spell cast after greater heroism seems to fail everytime since it takes a bit time to apply greater heroism.

Perhaps the "spell failure" duration applied after each cast is set too long.

I tested it again because I noticed dark foresight not being applied when I cast my buffs in a row. I always cast Dark foresight after Premonition which has a longer animation than the others.
This time though it worked fine. So not sure what happened those other times, because I cannot reproduce it.

Same here!
I would have preferred Resist poison or level drain, but hey it is a free feat:).

Shame it doesn't stay on your character when you log out though ;-)

It's something to get rid of the cooldown bug when you transition in a new area, I felt it was fitting to take that icon and description. It doesn't make you immune to IC diseases sorry guys :mrgreen:

The spell failure buff is applied when the spells affect goes off. Which for many spells like greater heroism that has a delay after casting makes any spell cast after it fail if queued. Same with inspirational boost. This is super annoying to be honest. I can understand trying to stop people from speed casting. Why not make it a rule that you can't do that? It does require active actions from a player to do so just make a rule saying if you are caught something will happen rather than mechanically trying to stop it? Because the way it is now, buffing will take Much longer and spells in the middle of combat will fail causing deaths.

But it has always been forbidden ! Delay has been tweaked anyway, but will have to wait next update.

Awesome. Thanks Valefort! I assume it is considered an exploit which would make it against the rules. Maybe if it was listed specifically as an exploit that is known and against the rules? I think this bug is more common with warlocks since they can essentially double their casting speed infinitely. I'm all for mechanically limiting exploits as long as something perfectly fine isn't broke in the process. And yes, that is what testing is for to limit those events. So hopefully in the end we have a fixed exploit and no other negatives from its implementation.

– No using known or unknown exploits or illegal haks. Absolutely no exceptions. Any exploits that are seen being used by Players will be accompanied by consequences such as lost XP/levels and/or possible booting or banning. Chances are if it seems like an exploit it probably is. For example, casting from the Quickcast GUI while shape-shifted is a known exploit and should not be done (only druids with Natural Spell should be able to cast while in their class wild shapes).
There's no room to wiggle there, people who equip/unequip to quickcast are exploiting knowingly. The problem is of course catching them.

The text that says what spells were dispelled seems to be missing.

It's only showing in the combat window now, so you have to read fast to catch it.

Today I got hit with several dispels (or maybe breaches) on chests. Each time Greater Heroism was the only buff that was listed as being dispelled, but a few times some other buffs were also dispelled (Cat's Grace, IMA, Deez's). I found it odd as I thought Breach was randomized, but after the third time I went back and looked through the combat log and Greater Heroism was always the only buff listed as being dispelled even though other buffs were also removed.

It is in fact not working like that and is still dropping every damn one of your spells that can be breached. Quite annoying actually.

I've noticed the wear-off symbol for "Magic Circle Against Alignment" flashing over my head very shortly after the initial casting. No dispel checks, no dispel traps, and not in combat. Just simply while walking shortly after buffing. It's almost as if you step outside your own Aura and then the spell vanishes. During one session, I had to reapply it 5 times in 15 minutes.

I've stopped using it due to this glitch. Protection from alignment, and other spells, don't seem to be affected.
