Posted here as per request by DM Bembel.

Observed vampire warriors summoned by "Create Greater Undead" spell ignoring Pale Master's critical immunity. This was tested in "Crypt" area on Fields of the Dead, vampire warriors summoned by "Shadow Priest" NPC.

Upon further testing, vampire warriors were able to bypass critical immunity granted to 10th lvl Pale Master reliably on every attempt. Dealt damage was also compared to non critical hits to confirm that increased damage from critical was indeed being dealt.

Tested with other enemies in the area, which registered said critical immunity properly. Issue seems to be only with this one particular summon.

Also tested vampire warriors against summoned undead, in which case they were unable to bypass summon's natural critical immunity.

Update: Same situation observed with NPC "Yuan-ti Pureblood Zealot" in Serpent's trail and summoned Greater Earth Elemental" in "Wyrm's lair".

I'm not saying the spell has been modified. However, something is removing it on the sly. Whatever it is, it's only going after Magic Circle Against Alignment (possibly because of the aura?).

Anyway, before this update, this was not happening. I use this Spell a whole lot due to its lack of visual effects. Ironically, the lack of visuals makes it harder to notice it vanishing suddenly too. I can try and get creative with screenshots of the combat log and time checks, if you like. It is broken somehow.

Does your character have the Uncanny Dodge/Improved Uncanny Dodge feat?

Cleric/FvS, so no. It does have Fey Heritage which is a little unusual. I'm not sure if there are any other background scripts at play here.

Got a PM that crippling strike isn't working. Not at home to test it to confirm. Anyone have the feat that can test?

Bigby's interposing hand isn't always working. The last time it was casted on the Balor and it just sort of stood and waved at us instead of actually interposing the Balor's attacks.

I got the spell failed issue again this morning when casting a string of buffs, reporting in case Valefort's fix already went in to reduce the timer.

Also, the Underdark is still infested with Rats in the newer Upperdark areas, would be great if that could be addressed.

Thanks!

The same was happening to my cleric/monk, who does have uncanny. Magic circle against alignment lasts about a few minutes after casting then just poofs... I ended up just memorizing PFA instead. What would uncanny dodge have to do with the debuff?
There are no level 30's, only level 20's with benefits...

Thanks man... Any chance you could test it against a crit immune when you have epic precision?

Not sure if new update, but Greater Doppelganger has a very, very weird interaction with Shapechange that causes it to stack its shape immunities and AB and get healed.

Did a bit of digging. I was correct, we are walking outside of the aura:

"This spell is subject to the mobile area of effect bug, in which an area of effect can lag behind the character it is attached to, allowing that character to actually exit the area of effect if moving fast enough. This results in the spell ending prematurely. (A fix for this is available on the Vault[1].)"

I also am aware of a bug that causes all aura abilities to randomly dispel (usually tearing all other spells with them) when the character had Improved Uncanny Dodge. This was primarily a bug on the Sigil server so I'm not sure if it actually applies here.
