Cannot log onto server at all

Just like the subject says I cannot log onto the server at all. I tried direct connect and it said it timed out. Even when I hit multiplayer and put in my username and password it says "cannot connect to the master server." What am I doing wrong?

Yep. Did that several times already. Still cannot log onto the server. Are there certain ports that must be forwarded like NWN had?

The master server was taken offline several years ago when Gamespy stopped supporting their servers for NWN2.

Unfortunately, connecting through the "multiplayer" button alone isn't going to get you anywhere.

You can either directly connect to the server using "direct connect." You just put the following information into the direct connect box: game.bgtscc.net

Or you can download the Client Extension, which you have to activate -- but then it bypasses the master server and shows you all of the available multiplayer servers on NWN2. You can download the Client Extension here: http://ce-update.mst.valhallalegends.com/CE/Latest

Okay after downloading and using the client extension, I was able to bypass the master server but now when I attempt to connect it says im BANNED. I dont understand why it says this since Ive done or did nothing to be banned. Any ideas?

your cd key has been banned by the server..the admins can check the key

Right, I don't see any reason why my cd key was banned honestly. Ive had the same key since 2009. I also dont think I should have to purchase the game again just to obtain a cd key. The link you posted sent me to GOG to purchase the game. Can the admins please check the key? I miss going to this server.

You were given a CD Key that was given to hundreds of others. Obtain a new legitimate key from GOG or another distributor. This requires you to communicate with the distributor using your account, you shouldn't have to repurchase the game, but we're not going to loosen those multi-share keys either.
