Disguise tool - disguise to same name as you other char.

Hi,

1. I used the disguise tool to change the name of character B to the same name as character A.
2. I didn't remove the disguise when I logged.
3. Logging back in showed only character A in my vault. I relogged before a server restart.

Fixed it by logging in with character named A,(which in fact was character A) removed the disguise which actually turned this character A name to the original name of character B.
Relogging back to the server now showed both characters in the vault but with switched names.
Now I am not quite sure how I fixed the rest. But I think I logged back in with character B and selected remove disguise. character B now named back to its original.
Relogged in with character A and got a DM to set the name back to the original character A name, as remove disguise just turned its name back to the original name of character B.

Confusing? Yes sorry about that. PM me if you have any questions.
Probably just try it out for yourselves to see how this is buggy.



Lesson learned: Never log a character while under a disguise, and at least now while named as another of your characters.

Yes since the disguise went in this has become a pretty well known bug for those that are not new here. Just be careful to always remove the disguise after muling you items.

A coming fix that worked for your character will be available to players to use soon as an in game command when all else fails.
