Her hair was in disarray, it seemed she had not been keeping up on that at all as she worked over the book. Coming up with nothing upon research she smacked her head against the book a few times, forehead into pages.
"Why." Smack "Can I" Smack "Find the." Smack "Answer!" Smack smack smack. She huffs slightly smoothing her hair back moderately fixing the disarray before she sits up and scratches at her cheek.
"If the pages inside will not give way...maybe then just maybe..."
She would close the book and run her fingers along the spine as well as the covers, her movements slow as she tries to feel for anything off about it. She would peer at the top of it and the bootm just flippping the book every which way as she bgan her new attempt.

The book does not seem to take pity on her, and still remains the same after the smackrifces. Overall, it does not seem to give away anything this way. The cover, and the pages, seem rather ordinary from this point of view, there is nothing strange about them, other then being a bit worn.
Maybe the stories themselves would be worth some consideration, ordering them? Or perhaps the stories have some inner order yet to be found out? Only some work will tell, but more smacking might cause damage to the structure of the book...

After taking some time away from the book as she has been working on another in a completely different manner. Mia would pick up the object in hand and flip through the pages once again, sliding her notes into view as she observed them with hopefully a more clearer head.
She would pause at the first story observing the language against her notes again, reading over what it was about again and notating the language used. She would go through this with each story one at a time. Taking her time with it instead of bullrushing as if something would pop out at her.
She would paused tapping the end of the quill against the side of her head now and again in thought before continuing in her own way.
"Now there is alphabetical according to the languages to the emotions if I were to order them. But that could be too easy and it may be in the order it is meant to be already. Meaning there is something else I require....that i have yet to find.." The girl mused softly to the empty room.
"There is also that it is ordered by the element...though..perhaps after the element being mentioned I will have my hidden key? Or perhaps the emotion itself?" She sighed softly at the options before her as so many sprung up and would begin with what she had before her looking for the key to the cryptogram before her. If nothing was to be found she would attempt ordering and begin a new.

The new ways of research does bring some results, however, the mystery is far from being solved.
By counting all the weird combinations of languages she finds: 21 strangely constructed infernal-celestial words, 17 similiary strange slyvan or jotun ones, and 51 ones which are those words expressing feelings in elemental languages.
Also, she finds strange letters, spread out in the stories. Those being: "B", "S" "A" "Y" and another "S".
But what those might mean, is not clear for her yet.
