This year we are taking applications to join on as part of the team and be part of the creative edge on the server. Media Team Mission Statement
The purpose of The Media Team is to provide quality custom content to the persistent world in every artistic aspect. This can be in the form of visual including: custom icons, 3-D rendering, re-texturing, animations, and beautification of existing content. Other aspects of the Media Team deal a lot with Audio in delivering unique content in the form of: sounds, voices, and music. While these two make up a majority of the Media Team's portfolio, the team works with a wide variety of objectives for the server and is always expanding with the individual expertise of each of its members.
What we aim to accomplish? Delivering a quality and original content for the server to make it more attractive for current and future players.
As much as we wish to deliver new or refreshed content to the server, we also want to provide constructive feedback for each other as much as possible, even in terms of being asked to make alterations to your work to build a better fit to the project. Media team's main role is not to praise and promote personal works of art (for that you can make your private thread). We work as a team to deliver quality content for common usage, not to gain appreciation or praises. That's why we would expect some commitment of time, just like the other team members do - they sacrifice precious hours of their life for people to have fun.
We will try and deliver the content as quickly as possible depending on the given project, which might come from players or DMs, but we can also work independently.
Media team exists to serve the server, not to fulfill personal caprices and requests. Means that if somebody wishes for a portrait or something custom for a single character, the Media Team is not exactly the place to ask for it. In cases of custom guild banners, capes, crests etc. where there is a DM approval for implementing such content in the game, we are people for the job. For anything else you can ask people in general on the forums or an individual artist.
In conclusion there is the golden rule of Media Team:
We are all volunteers here using our passion for the enrichment of others, so have as much fun as possible. Pick projects that inspire you, and love what you do. You talents are greatly appreciated as much as you are.
