Ranger Feat/skill suggestions

Lost a couple of ACs today. Going naked takes into account my base 10 + 8 Dex + 1 from 10 Tumble points = 19 AC. Should get another 2 from Protective Ward if it was working.

Its the Nexus script. Rest after you leave nexus, that should fix it. Else log out and back in.

While I personally would love such a change, in the past as a group this has been considered overpowered. I agree Improved FE / FPA would be a great boon, it would likely also become must have feats in most cases, at least IFE would. Generally this is avoided, though I'd be for such a change.

Unfortunately in their current incarnation its extremely difficult to get even one or two of these feats into any ranger build. Most skip them in favor of other feats.

I agree, never even consider them in a build, too expensive and very little benefit unless you plan to spend your entire time fighting one enemy type.

I just leveled up to 6 to fetch the protective ward feat. To my yet another unpleasant surprise the feat does not work with according to the kaedrin description - as in the pure ranger does not get any benefits, which sucks terribly.

Got screwed 3 times so far - no scout class - the only real descent choice for ranger multiclassing, no power attack - I wanted to 2h sword and I hate going 2 stupid scimitars and now I find out that this is not implemented as described.

You can take the protective ward feat, you just don't get it for free.

Our server is not Kaedrin's. We have pieces of Kaedrin's (some modified and some not) and our forums and wiki has descriptions of how things work on this server. You also can RCR for free up to level 10, so no reason to delete a character. Have you looked at the Wilderness Stalker Class? Some combination of Fighter/Rogue/Wilderness Stalker/X might be closer to what you are looking for than a Ranger.

Tangentially, would Ranger/Bodyguard/Wilderness Stalker work or does the Bodyguard sneak attack not work as a prerequisite?
