No non-monk Elemental gloves

There are literately no elemental damage gloves for bear warrior or a shape changer on ANY shop in the game that aren't monk only. Was wondering if we could get that monk only removed for some other class love.. Bear Warriors want to be able to kill trolls.

Bear form and all transformations only pull the properties off your gloves... unless it was changed to be a weapon pull too?

So you mean to tell me, when I shapechange.. I can use my weapon elemental properties..

Like I can use my vampiric fire damage sword to actually gain vamp and fire damage?!

Bear Warrior - as people stated above, you get gimped the Dragon Druid way, but dont have such bonuses and cool spellbook...

it just does no damage. its like bringing twigs (not even knives or sticks) to a gun fight.

It tends to taper off when you approach and then get in to epics. Many of the complaints about Bear Warrior are more around end game rather than early-mid game, but Valefort did make some changes a while back that gave it a much needed nudge.

Opinions obviously vary on if it was enough or not.

In one of my forum built groups, a player had a bear warrior and hated it so much that he ended up quiting the game. I guess it was pretty bad. Complained a lot about it.

If the 2d6 bear damage mentioned in the wiki can't get implemented, Valefort, but is replaced by a maximum of little more half that damage on gloves maximum, can I make another suggestion for a bonus feat to take the place of that lost damage (without which I doubt the class will become more popular than it is and players put up with the death threat that comes with shifting back to original form)?

It might be beneficial as a slight bump to damage (since they are capped at 3 APR) to give the Bear Warrior progression of 1d4, 2d4, and 2d6 (at level 9 BW, 16 minimum total level) bonus damage to their attacks.

The damage is above average. Even if a more defensive build is made, it seems the damage will be more than enough.

Let leave the slashing damage out.

My defensive build is dealing ~20 damage per hit after changes, which is quite impressive for level 18. I don't think bear warrior needs a flat damage increase.

Valefort, are you sure that the damage bonus is being applied on all attacks -- for all versions of the bear? The level 6-10 bear seems to have three attacks and it is only shown on the character sheet being applied to the last of them.

And Bear Warrior doesnt' need to get druid power.

No damage is just a ridiculous claim, Bear warrior does plenty even though it caps out early.

Regarding number of bear warrior it is in no way indicative of the power of the class, look at breach gnomes if you want.

You cant expect for a 10 level prc to get the same power level as a dragon druid which requires at least 27 levels of druid. Bear warrior complements the barbarian class very well. You dont have to be in the bear form all the time. Use rages or bear form depending the situation.
