Sshamath City Guards Hostile. [Fixed]

The Sshamath City Guards at the West of Varalla Entrance has turned hostile all the sudden, so now i cant get back to Sshamath thought Varalla's passage. What do i do?

Don't cast AOE spells near the guards (e.g. prayer). You can either ask a DM to respawn the guards, which should fix it, or wait for reset.

I didnt even do anything, all i did was return from the crypt and then all of a sudden i get attacked once i entered Varalla's passage. i was only warded with buffs. it the first time this happen, all the other times it worked fine.

Did you accidently have your weapons equipped?

Probably you didn't but it's the only other reason I know why guards ever get aggressive.

I did have my weapon equipped but that has not cause aggressive behavior from the guards before.

Mysterious reasons ! Either way I added a few lines on the script that fires when you transition and should set the factions right at that moment. What's left is doing something that make NPCs hostile while you're already in the area but then you'll have the option to run to the next transition to solve the problem.

This is a fairly common bug whenever you use Bigby spells and cast an AoE that also damages the Bigby hand. It may also be the case of other similar spells, such as all the new wall spells. It does not matter where you do this on the server. All NPCs will be hostile.

Not been fixed yet to my knowledge which makes me suspect that is what happened.

For the record, it is a typical issue you can only bandaid, or at least that is what I was able to do this time.

Sadly, I can not code or such, so I can not "solve" the issue, apart from applying a "bandaid", when it happens.. However, as far as I know, the eventual reset will fix it for you, even if the DMs can't, for some reason
