The TWO events are for different level ranges. The first is for levels 1-20, while the second later one is for 21-30. The second will come at a later date.
For the first time in many years, the Charnag Maelthra are hiring special operatives for two highly classified missions. While no details of the mission itself is given out, flyers are hung around the city on notice boards going into a little bit of detail.

The Charnag Maelthra, at the behest of the Conclave, will be conducting two special missions with the assistance of the public.
Due to our involvement, we will be insuring that all those taking part will loyally serve the Conclave. Betrayal of any sort will be met with a painful death after five decades of torture.
We will be having two training sessions. The first is for those who are not accustomed to travelling freely in the Underdark while the latter will be for the most experienced. The second session will be held after we finish our first session.
Interested parties will register with our operative, Dresmorlin, stationed at the entrance of the bazaar. None will carry the official power of the Charnag Maelthra outside of the mission itself.
If the task is successful, those who took part will be rewarded and looked favorably upon by us and the Conclave. Failure is not an option.

Some known knowledge about who and what the Charnag Maelthra are;
The Charnag Maelthra (translation "Deep Dragon's")
This is the political and military police arm of the Conclave.
It's main role is to enforce the will of the Conclave through administering the day-to-day implementation of Sshamath's "laws" and the Conclave's "edicts". Upon admission they swear an oath to protect the city-state's values and follow the directive of the Conclave whatever their personal beliefs.
In addition they are charged with supporting the Sshamathian Guard in times of crisis to protect the city from dangers, real and perceived. They are often sent out of the city on important errands for the Conclave acting as bodyguards to high-ranking emissaries, to retrieve artifacts or anywhere the Conclave needs a representative. When a high ranking drow needs to be detained or otherwise punished due to a ruling of the Conclave the Charnage Maelthra are sent to collect them.
They are given much latitude in their work as long as they do not deviate from their general mission of protecting the Conclave, the city of Sshamath and ensuring the Conclave's will is carried out.
Although they have great latitude in how they discharge their duty they tend to act very conservatively, at least in public. Excessive displays of force are in themselves bad for business and so they tend to rely on diplomacy or threats as appropriate. Only when these approaches fail do they fall back on violence. However once engaged they hold little back as it usually means that the offender has not taken the appropriate position of deference to them, and by extension the Conclave. They are not restrained by a normal law officer's view of public safety and respect for the individual. This can make them very dangerous to cross.
Their authority and power in Sshamath is second, directly behind the Conclave.
