It seems the Captain of the Ebon Blade and the missing trader Shekels have both separately been seen once again back in circulation along the Coast.

Lord Dhelt of Elturel sends criers to Baldur's Gate to proclaim his public gratitude for donations due him and donated to him previously from The Halls of Inner light. These donations are rumoured to be various camp and patrol equipment and a large payment of Gold.

Elsewhere rumours of strange prayers and visions along the Coast being collected and interpreted continue. Mostly these relate to twin events or people and offer a bleak future.

News filters along the Coast, grim news, A Palemaster Posse has been seen trying to gather recruits for a new and likely terrible purpose. They say there are three tests to join, physical, spelling, and loyalty; The three ways to Hell. Meanwhile in other news Paladin posturing along the Coast has declined and in an effort to garner new recruits a flexible working Year has been introduced.

An old adventurer from Baldur's Gate passed away quietly recently, local legend Lorri
Liveai left behind a legacy in the form of a number of unsolved adventures in the capable hands of new heroes keen to get involved on the Coast.

Elsewhere rumours of strange prayers and visions along the Coast being collected and interpreted continue. Mostly these relate to twin events or people and offer a bleak future. No one group or person has taken responsibility for collating these visions. However it is said The Inner Light has a interest as has a Druid of Baldur's Gate. There is even interest beyond the Coast and visitors are expected soon.

For a strange reason small golden eggs made of amber have been hidden all around the Sword Coast. It is said that some people made it their quest to collect them. They found eggs in the most curious places; amidst crops, behind rocks, within bushes, beneath trees, amongst traders or livestock and even balancing precariously upon a cliff's edge. Those who were really lucky found quite a lot of those precious gems and the merchants all around the coast pay well for them. But the people, who still search for the golden eggs, report that none can be found anymore.

//OOC: Please send me a pm, if you have found or gathered (from other pc) 7 or more golden eggs.

Apparently across the Sword Coast, shrines to deities of Nature are being found desecrated and damaged or completely destroyed- sometimes also finding wild animals killed around them as well. There's some grumbling around Farmlands in Baldur's Gate about a rumoured unsuccessful attempt to do the same to shrine of Chauntea, which greatly displeases a number of devout farmers. A ranger of Mielikki living near Beregost was reported to be completely horrified by the act of such atrocity he had found at the nearby shrine to Mielikki.

There has been such a number of visions that Local traders have put a value on such prayers of 1000 gold. Where such prayers might end up remains uncertain but it points towards competition.

//Those wishing to have prayers interpreted require two or more, and should contact DM Spartacus.

There seems to have been some success with Palemaster recruitment which is still going on though as Undead have been sighted along the coast in greater numbers.

Attacks on Nature's shrines, reported elsewhere, have encouraged the faithful to gather too.

The Hunt for the assassin/s known as the Golden Wolf goes on along the Coast spearheaded by The Hunters of Vengeance. Another murder was reported at Beregost where a man not known locally but believed to be versed in creating disguises was found dead.

//Thanks to any who got involved, and those that took up the MOST WANTED challenges. For clarity these are treasure hordes hidden in game, maybe with wanted hostile npc individuals who attract a reward. No DM is required in these searches but they offer a reward to the finder/s. If I am on and available will try and add spice but it most likely is a RP player only search.

Apologies if anyone was confused.

Al Prethge the Bard is spotted once again plying the Trade Way delivering his latest;

"As a generalisation there is a sense along the Coast that great treasures may lie far offshore. People have been people want to go. My advice, young and old, Guild, group, friends, loners, Go West my adventurer! Go West! Don't wait to be invited don't wait to be told get yourself involved somewhere, wriggle in, demand attention, lead from the front but get there!"

Elsewhere prayers and visions have been interpreted and discussed in hushed tones and open meetings. There full import and meaning not quite revealed yet. The value of such fluctuates and adventurers pay the best now surpassing the market price of 1000 gold.

Palemasters continue to be active with their collection of Undead along the Coast but they are described as a nuisance rather than a major threat for now.

The Hunt for the assassin/s known as the Golden Wolf goes on along the Coast spearheaded by The Hunters of Vengeance. As the Golden Wolf goes underground researchers travel far and wide in an effort to close the net. Talk of rewards and glory for the curious persist.

It has been suggested that you may wish to put up elsewhere than the Friendly Arms Inn following a spate of bad luck in the place, including water failures, food poisoning, missing guests, small kitchen fires, and rancid lizard eggs. Bentley declared Gremlins begone blaming adventurers for it all before offering free drinks. Alas the free drinks went tumbling down the stairs as guest as barkeep collided.

Prayers and visions continue to be found along the Coast, some appear to have changed hands anywhere from 1000 gold to 5000 gold.

Whispered in the dark corners of the Coast and the secret halls that predominate it's length; an interpretation of those visions. Time may tell.

Fredrich Sythe a Cleric from Waterdeep and once of the Domes of Reason is said to be on his way to Baldur's Gate to discuss with interested parties the Cult of Polvich.

There is a rumour the bad luck that haunted the Friendly Arms Inn has been chased out along with a group of Adventurers. Like a bad coin it has rolled off down the road to bring bad luck elsewhere. Only Poor Mad Teris seemed to want to chase after it, flapping like a bird.

The Cloakwoods has grown quieter, the birds sing less and woodland creatures jump at the slightest noise. A dark shadow seams to linger in the forest as once friendly creature to nature now have a rabid blood lust and hate for its own kind. Some Deer, rabbit and squirrel have formed a vicious pack of predators upsetting natures balance attacking all, even adventurers and people of the forest alike. Dark Power is afoot in the Cloakwood as a wild pack of mishmash creatures become craze with hate and blood lust.

Fredrich Sythe a Cleric from Waterdeep and once of the Domes of Reason called briefly on Officials and citizens at Baldur's Gate before making a public speech on Polvich the Profane, sadly cut short by an incident at the East Gate.

The Hunt for the assassin/s known as the Golden Wolf appears to have ended with reports he was caught by the HOV.

There is a rumour that a group of adventurers returned from a trip across the Sea laden with gold to spend at the Friendly Arms Inn. They were made welcome despite a rumour they had brought bad luck with them last time. This time it seems things have gone quieter, so far.

Hunters around Greenest and those travelling through Uldoon's Trail and Greenfields lately report an increased number of elves being met through those regions. Though encounters are brief, few of the Fair Folk seem to be often meet openly around- buying supplies or simply hiring adventurers to do some tasks for them, mostly involving monster slaying.

Mist parted along the river as the morning sun rose upon Ulgoth's Beard, fishermen where already about catching fish leaping for the early flies. Though the days start was not of the norm, for a patrol of Flaming Fist heavy horse pushed down the local road. Ahead of this column in his trophy covered war plate, was famed Orc Hunter, Captain Norton. He was a no nonsense man when it came to Orcs, no quarter given and a fantasist to finding these creatures. What drove his zeal towards purging civilized lands of what he deemed "Infestation" is unknown, nor is it spoken of. Captain Norton exists for one purpose, to find and kill Orcs.

The appearance of the Flaming Fist banners reassure some of the locals, that once again the many villages and hamlets along the length of the great river are dutifully protected.

((It is stated that Ulgoth's Beard is a Ducal holding and as such Full Blood Orcs are KoS along with Drow in this area, further entering these lands is godmodding of the local folk and guards and shall not be done with out express oversight/permission of a Dungeon Master. Thank you all ahead of time for your understanding.))

Prayers and visions continue to be found along the Coast, though with no new content, the value and trading has dropped away and they are no longer of concern to adventurers.

There meaning is generally known among the Coasts Clergy and yet the events remain unresolved.

Fredrich Sythe a Cleric from Waterdeep and once of the Domes of Reason was only briefly at Baldur's Gate to discuss with interested parties the Cult of Polvich, before his demise at the hands of the Golden Wolf assassin. What legacy if any he leaves behind is not so well known.

There is a rumour that the luck, good and bad surrounding, seven coins known as the seven sons spilled over the Friendly Arms Inn as all 7 coins briefly came together before being given away and lost. One recipient of bad luck was Teris the mad who was running around flying a bottle when he tripped fell and knocked himself out. There was a flash of Tymoran spells and crowd of well wishers brought him round. He said a few words of gratitude and returned to his beloved woods.

Further inland Ya'aestar Durlags Expedition has led them to Greenest where they have been playing a game of hide and seek with increasing numbers of Orc and Drow raiders.

Sightings of Cultists of Polvich continue along the Coast. Palemasters and necromancers they have been delivering ill wherever they pass. However it is believed they are recruiting on the Coast, and also searching for the Lost Portal of Polvich. Free Companies, and other guilds have been investigating.

There is a rumour that the Coast, a place renowned for strange groups huddled in endless secret meetings, was host to another such gathering. This one was of Druids from many places with their roots in different dogma. The purpose or location was not discovered.

Further inland Ya'aestar Durlags Expedition has led them to Greenest where they have been playing a game of hide and seek with increasing numbers of Orc and Drow raiders. They have warned the Hell riders that they believe a Drow attack on Greenest is inevitable. A Hell rider patrol was soon on scene but became preoccupied with local murders there, that have been dubbed 'the Dinner Date.' Two families, within and just outside Greenest, have been slaughtered as they were eating. Bhaalists are suspected. A lone voice of rage was heard supporting the Hell riders in their endevours in the form of local Politician Donny Determind, a Cleric of Tyr.

So while the Hell riders are committed close to town the Ya'aestar have been patrolling a wider remit.

The Druid Teris 'the birdman of Cloakwood' continues to enjoy better health and has continued to recover and resume a more normal life around the Friendly Arms. The Seven Sons, the Tymoran coins he so recently coveted are a thing of the past.

Rumours persist of gangs of brigands gathering coming together for raids around Nashkel under the banner of Horde of Pol, fortunately Guilds, and other free companies have been on hand to take action.

Elsewhere deep in the Upperdark a small band of zealots, working under a banner - Knights of the White Order were attempting to clear out caves of evil doers. Though working in the cause of Lathander, they have no remit from those known organisations following that Deity. Their excessive behaviour and lack of clarity is a reminder of the Inquisition days.

The Hellriders have failed to solve the Dinner Date murders at Greenest, and others have been seen investigating.
