my fav build like this has swash 18/duel7/temp5. or even more fun (to me), swash 11/duel7/wm7/temp5. but i like the PTWF rapiers look and feel. thats just me

I might try to squeeze a couple points of INT to reach 30 w/ +4 item for + 20 damage from Combat Insight and Insightful strike stacking as well as +10 AC from Duelist 10... Also might replace the charge feats for an always on 1d4 damage via Deadly Defense. 2d6 for one round is nice, but 1d4 will add up against bosses and when you have to take on multiple enemies over several rounds. 2d6 for 6 attacks = ~42 extra damage if all 6 hit, 49 w/ haste. 2.5 damage for 6 attacks is only 15 damage, but in any fight lasting more than 2 rounds it overtakes the extra damage you gained for Dire charge attacks in one round. (3d4 is better than 2d6 by .5 average damage).

Deadly defense doesnt woark with one hander at the same time so i had to choose one of those feats... went with one hander if Deadly Defense is better i might switch them....

Aaron i dont want other classes just something more out of this setting

Ah, forgot about the One Weapon not being usable alongside CE.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other, Deadly Defense is more consistent since every attack gets the added 1-4 damage. One Weapon is probably better overall, but much more defensive oriented and the bonuses will be a bit less consistent. IMO I'd go Deadly Defense and ICE, since you can switch between Parry, CE, ICE as the situation warrants and always get the bonus damage as well as a defensive bump.

yes, it adds 1-4 damage on all attacks when in parry mode or having CE/ICE active.

It is nice, though most PTWF DEX builds are pretty feat starved so it can be difficult to fit it in. On Duelist/SB builds it's quite a bit easier in most cases.

Well, you got Expose Weakness and that Duelist +2d6 piercing damage against critical hit immunities, so you should be able to pull it off. You just have to endure the slow start of a dex/int build, unless you RCR into this one.

Edit: I kind of like the Dire Charge angle.

One hander works with deadly defence at the same time. Where you heard it doesnt?

Valefort told me it doesnt work.. One hander works with CE but he said it doesnt work with Deadly Defense...

It does work for my character, i just tested it. There is no intention of having one hander not work with Deadly Defense. If indeed it doesnt work it needs fixing.

Furthermore are you certain it works?
Maybe the feat icon is turned on, but its hard to notice that extra 1d4 dmg.

You have to turn it on seperatly after you turn on CE/parry. Then you see the xtra damage on the char-sheet.
