Screen Resolution Unchangeable

Hello. I am having a Laptop with Windows 10, and I can not change the screen resolution for the game. Whenever I open the game, it plays in a square shaped box typical to old monitors.

No screen resolution option selection (changed to windowed mode since couldn't take screenshot of menu in full screen for some reason)

omg. had this happen for me and it is awful. this is the response i got and through some trial and error made it work.

This one helped me. Tested with the /fswindow command , which put my screen as big, and then simply resumed playing with fullscreen. The text is a bit to small than I'd prefer, but eh, i'll get used to it.
