Upperdark: Riverift map

Unread post by Glowfire »

Related to the Search and Rescue quest.

There's several stalagmites that one has to intimidate to get over. This seems incorrect.

There's also one I think with a very high Tumble check somewhere else than the starting location. It's way too high for the intended CR of the area.

Intimidate? I never had to. I just use the option where I pass through. I think it is the last one.

What I noticed however is that the map is still labeled as Underdark, while it should be Upperdark now.

Need to be a small race or have Reduce Person to pass through. Otherwise you have to use intimidate on the rocks.

Actually this map is called "The Underdark: River Rift." It used to be located north off of Varalla's Passage but it looks like it got moved to the Upperdark. It should probably be renamed to reflect that.

Fix submitted for stalagmites and area name. River Rift can also be reached through the North/NW Grottoes.

EDIT: C/W

It's a trigger now. Just move to the edge of the stalagmite to transition through..

The changed kobold statue now makes the mobs aggro towards it. Kobolds are defiling their altars!

Actually, the kobolds aren't attacking the statue. Can anyone else verify this?

Did the quest yesterday. Didn't see Kobolds attacking the statue. They'd happily attack me though.

They are still attacking the statue. Although at least now they change target when the PC arrives.
