Background: Living in an endless diaspora, He wonders the world, seeking arcane secrets and perhaps somewhere to belong. The mental scars of the purging of Deep Imaskar from his mind, leave for certain, some kinds of idiosyncrasies, driving a personality, that while convinced of his own inaction, cannot help but interfere. His obsessive search for knowledge of the arcane has further driven his exile, till only the rotting wastes of the Upperdark are welcome to his wandering ways.

A Historian and Wizard both, Zoros represents the sad inevitability of the Imaskari sent out to explore the world beyond the wards of Deep Imaskar. He looks to find and understand a world that has long forgotten his race, but is indeed forever without hope of returning to where he called home. His deep-seated racial paranoia, drives an obsessive need to mask the features of his face, and all signs of his appearance, so much so, that the truth of his existence beneath the spells of illusion he weaves is beginning to become unknown, even to him. There stands a growing risk, that his continual search for the history of the world that has forgotten lost Imaskar, and his continued reliance on magical disguises shall ensure in time, that even he fails to remember where has come from, or even whom he happens to be.
