Hey all,
I need to Rework Godfrey as I started him with no real sense of direction. I am looking to make a tank healer build that is primarily cleric with maybe some paladin. What is the best cleric tank healer combo or is it better to be pure cleric? All help and suggestions welcome. Thanks all!
Godfrey

Re: Cleric / Paladin Tank Healer Build Suggestions
Cleric/hospitaler/hierophant is a very solid healing combination - if your deity allows the Healing domain that makes your low level single target heals a little more potent (and therefore less risky with the inherent RNG element) - it's not the strongest domain but it might save lives on occasion.
Adding paladin would boost your Lay on Hands but I don't think the server has the Kaedrin feats that grant extra LoH casts. Also LoH is dependent on charisma and stacking charisma too much will start to limit the number of bonus spells you get from Wisdom.
I wonder if a Cha-focused Favored Soul would make a good LoH healer who still gets decent amounts of spells - I've never tested the FvS though as the RP doesn't much appeal.

the benifits in pure cleric are the bonus epic feats each 3rd level after 20.
I hope Godfrey stays as Tormite? The domains Strength and Healing are very nice for your build. It will give you Attack Power and Healing Power (spontanous empowered healing spells)
A 4 level Paladin dip will give you martialy weapon profiency (Greatsword, Torms favorite weapon) and Charisma ability modifier to all your saves. With practiced spellcaster you still get CL 30 (undispellable by greater dispels).
A 4 level Anointed Knight dip will give you two bonus feats (blindfight and toughness; but you need Iron Will to qualify for AK), martial weapon profiency (Greatsword) and tower shield profiency. You also have access to Tumble as Classskill (can get 30 Tumble for +3 AC). With practiced spellcaster you still get CL 30 (undispellable by greater dispels).
Mechanically AK may be better than Paladin for what you intend. But Paladin has more RP flavor.
Mechanically Aasimar may be better than Human race.
Make a EpicDivineMight build, insert Divine Shield for defense, get tower shield profiency (for those moments you want more AC). Athkaltlan Tripate and Combat Expertise/ImprovedCombatExpertise can even further buff your ac. For Defenses against spells and special monster attacks you ve got your cleric wards.
