I've had similar issues with other gear, like boots, but those I could use the NPC appearance changer on, so it didn't matter...

the regular appearance changer and the mithril appearance changer NPC run different though.

I'll see if I can't get a DM to assist. Thanks.

You can also give the item to another player to try. When I had an item stuck in apperance, I gave it to another. She could change it when I could not, and afterwards I could change it too. No idea why.

Thanks Shandrilala ;)

Would it be possible to get assistance with a Robe of Eyes? The shop appearance changer will not touch it, as it is "not fit for his skills". The change appearance function on the nwn2 menu will not change it, and will eat it if pushed on the matter. The Appearance Kit will not change the body of it or the base type of it, only the arm and leg parts.

Change arms, shoulders, elbows, legs, knees, shins to plain ones.
Then changing the armor-type back to cloth should work. (I could change mine.)

Still no luck. I removed the bracers and shoulders which were the only parts not plain. Then it will not change the variation, giving the message that the armor only has one variation. The visual type can be changed, but the appearance remains as cloth and still only has the one variation.

*edit:
Seems it maybe an issue that affects certain race/gender models.

Fixed. Thanks Eysenbeis :)
